That's so awesome Chalice_Of_Evil
and what's so great about those wonderful collections
is the tons of " Extras " that go along with these movies as well . Hours of fun indeed !!
Also really cool that you actually got to see
these films on the big screen too .

I then saw the third at the theatre, but missed the fourth (which ended up being my favourite, after I watched it on DVD). I saw the rest of the films at the theatre, though. I'm slowly working my way through the extras, as there are indeed a LOT. One of the behind the scenes extras I watched yesterday showed just how emotional Daniel Radclifffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson got after they finished shooting the last film.

There pic selections are quite moving it even makes me want to cry and I don't even know which particular scenes they were watching - most affective indeed .
I also discovered all these intriguing epic films
from my own Mom who was a big fan of most of this film series and had the box set up to part 4 .
I have only seen these films up to part 5 - which was one of my top favorites also
Thanks so much Chalice_Of_Evil for all your awesome replies here too .

Oh, now you've got me worried that I've spoiled the later films for you, mszanadu. Apologies if I have. Will you be watching the films past part 5 at some point? I held off getting the movies on DVD/Blu-ray because they were constantly being repeated on TV here and I could just always record them if I wanted to rewatch them. However, the TV stations here started putting the films on earlier at night, and with the ones that were 'darker' (ie. the later films), they'd edit parts out that they deemed 'not suitable' for showing at the earlier time ("Why not just put them on later?" one would naturally wonder, but the stations here make really stupid decisions with shows/movies oftentimes). Anyway, that's why when I saw it for a bargain, I got the complete collection on Blu-ray - because I could watch them whenever I wanted and unedited. The Lord of the Rings films are my favourite film series too, with the first one being my favourite film of all time. I really should get around to rewatching them too at some point, but I've got so many other things to watch on DVD/Blu-ray that I haven't even watched for the *first* time yet. I'll be getting to The Lizzie Borden Chronicles series next on DVD, I think, and will let you know my thoughts once I've finished watching it (as promised ). Thanks so much again Chalice_Of_Evil for this wonderful pic selection here too . That's^ one of my top favourite films too. Christina Ricci in the black & white striped dress, with the snow falling, was certainly a striking image.
