Trying to figure out whether the prequels or the Disney star wars is better or worse is like trying to figure out if Hillary is better than trump, or the other way around. You just can't do it. Do you know what I mean? Am I right?

Nope 👎 the prequels are about ideas and creativity, a precious and rare commodity. A great story not told before.
The sequels are about lowbrow rehash and nostalgia milking. They are a narrative mess.

Yes, you can because Hillary can at least engage others like a grown adult. Back to the topic, I prefer the prequels. They have their obvious flaws - Jar Jar, Young Anakin, poor writing, some hammy acting - but at least they're trying to tell their own story, offer moments to stand out from the originals and don't kill off our favorite characters in a lazy manner. I didn't care for The Force Awakens because all they did was remake A New Hope with different characters and it acts as a poor foundation for the rest of the Disney SW films. The Last Jedi was decent (mostly due to Mark Hamill), but doesn't inspire excitement to see Episode 9.

It's easy.
Hillary is better.
Disney SW is better than the prequels.
Remember:
Trump = prequels which means he sucks.

For better or worse, the PT is exactly what George Lucas wanted STAR WARS to be.

Oh, there's quite a difference. Most have a Star Wars preference, mine being the prequels, and no one is worse for ware because of their choice. If you like either or both, that's fantastic, just fantastic.
On the political spectrum however, if you actually believed there was a better side, it's really you who contributed to the problems that led us to such candidates. All the lesser of two evils gets you is more evil.

I've grown to appreciate that each trilogy so far is its own thing. There are worse things in the world to fret over. From an indy film in 1977 to 1999 to 2015 kickstarting new trilogies, I just let it be.

A rather naive political allegory that - it would be more apt to compare Trump the Hutt to Battlefield Earth and Clinton to the new Star Trek 09 movies - glib, unimaginative but competent.
Apart from that, the prequels any day, story wise the only part of the saga that really interests me (fall of Republic, Palps rise to power etc). The sequels are currently de-canonized for me unless Ep IX is really good and manages to do something new - does not look good with the Darth Plagiarism directing 50 shades of lensflare and writing (!).

Do you know what I mean? Am I right? No, you're not right at all. An idiot is what you are. The Disney Star Wars are nothing but money grabs fueled by hype, nostalgia and fanservice. They feel like fanfiction rather than legit instalments of the series. They don't even make any sense as a continuation from Jedi. They should be considered non canon to any true Star Wars fan.

Do you know what I mean? Am I right? Well, one is owned by corporate fat cats. The other is a one-man show, though, unfortunately, that one man is a greedy self-promoter who was given credit for successes that werent entirely his and then coasted off of them into a position of power he shouldn't have had. So I can sort of see the similarities.

True Star Wars fans only consider Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back as canon. Return of the Jedi was the result of Lucas losing interest in making three trilogies. Episode 6 was supposed to be about fighting Boba Fett and saving Han Solo, and maybe Luke meeting another Jedi who Yoda spoke of. Darth Vader story was supposed to end in the Episodes 6 - 9 trilogy. I wish he stuck with his original idea.

tbh that's a good comparison.
I adamantly dislike both. I do think the prequels tried something new and creative, but completely failed (like Trump). The sequels are contrived rehashing with no substance (like Hillary). If I had to choose, I'd probably go with the prequels.
