With the biggest action scenes yet seen in the film franchise.
TEXT:
"...Fallen Kingdom starts with a massive action piece that feels like a James Bond prologue. And in the centre there is the biggest set-piece ever done for a Jurassic movie."
Rather than follow the usual Jurassic Park formula of having to run away from a killer dinosaur, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is about trying to save all of the dinosaurs from extinction. A formerly dormant volcano is on the verge of eruption, wiping out every dinosaur on Isla Nublar with hot magma death. Matching the size of the creatures at the center, Jurassic World had big, explosive action and its sequel is looking to top that. J.A. Bayona replaced Colin Trevorrow as director of Fallen Kingdom, and anyone worried how a director who's new to the franchise would handle the action, can probably relax.
J.A. Bayona told Empire that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom begins with a "massive action piece" that's reminiscent of a James Bond prologue. James Bond movies usually open big with action (think the bathroom fight from Casino Royale), so Fallen Kingdom will be coming in hot right from the start. Obviously, Bayona couldn't give any specific details about the scene, but one would wager that it has something to do with dinosaurs.
Even more interesting, J.A. Bayona is already teasing what he calls the biggest set piece ever done for a Jurassic Park movie. Apparently, that will happen right in the middle of the movie. I can only guess as to what the scene will entail, but I'd wager that it has something to do with the stampede seen in the trailer. This movie has to be about more than just a volcano erupting and it could be possible that it erupts halfway through the movie and then a secret plot takes us through the rest.

Interesting. As I said in another thread, I wonder if they'll do the sequence from the novel where they find raptor eggs in the volcano?
I just hope we get more interesting characters than in JW (though I liked Chris Pratt).

This still sounds like The Lost World 2 to me.

They need to really do something special to make this plot work.... If the volcano erups in the middle of the movie and the movie turns into a suspenseful, very hectic movie, it might be really cool.

It does make me wonder what else will happen if everything we saw in the trailer is only the first half of the movie.

Yeah. imagine if this scene is after the volcano has erupted and now the island has turned into a gauntlet of lava and angry-dinos-who-don't-understand-that-the-humans-want-to-help-them-off-the-island-so-they're-still-angry-dinos. Like a video game.

Big action alone means nothing without a good story, and I don't see the potential for a good story after 4 films already.
