I think it is going to be about the little boy at the end of "THE LAST JEDI" who used the force to take the broom.

I don't think so. I think that ending was just to symbolize that hope and the force are still very alive in the universe. I don't think we'll ever see that kid again in a Star Wars Movie. Rian Johnson's trilogy will probably be in the far future or in an even longer time ago.

This used to be an intriguing question to me and I would've said it should be about The Second Great Schism (but I would have been happy with any pre-PT story featuring any Sith).
After watching TLJ, I hope the world ends before RJ makes another SW movie.

I wouldn't watch his tripe if you put a gun to my head.

I would not take the last scene as a hint with this people ruling Star Wars. We were all expecting what would happen after TFA ending scene... Rey arrives on the (irish) island, climbs up stairs, reaches the top where legendary Luke is standing on a cliff, she offers the lightsaber to his owner... (2 years waiting for that moment) and what we get? Luke takes the lightsaber and ... tosses it over his shoulder!!!

Unlikely, we have seen this broom-kid before: White Force sensitive kid enslaved by exploitative master close to a race track.
I think it was more a subtle thematic link to Anakin's origins showing that there will always be Force users. Rey in the next one will likely be the master Jedi who rebuilds the Jedi order and teaches the apprentices (she has Luke's Jedi texts in her possession in TLJ and Yoda approved).
The Johnson trilogy will hopefully not be an OT rehash but cover new grounds like some of the old EU.
