iirc she turns away when the creature turns to look at her, so she looks away as to not be seen staring at the odd scene by the creature itself, I'm 99% sure that's why but I could be wrong.

I took it as a gag. The siren critter after Luke moof-milked her turned to Rey with a look a la "Want my milk me too - your turn". And Rey turned away quickly - embarrassed, probably disgusted. Hard to tell from her expression.

That was going to be my next question, why does the creature turn to look at Rey?
As for Rey's disgust/embarrassment, she reacts in a similar but vocal fashion when she exclaims "Noooo!!!!" after BB-8 says something to her when they first meet in TFA, as if the little bot is making an indecent proposal or something.
