Whatever you think of the quality of the movie (personally, I like it a bit more after a second screening but still think it's the weakest of the new Disney-era movies), calling it a box office bomb is simply factually inaccurate. Let's examine:
2nd highest opening weekend 13th highest second weekend 2nd lowest third weekend drop for a movie that opened with over $100 million 2nd fastest movie to make $500 million domestically #1 at the box office for three consecutive weeks (as of this past weekend) Already made $1 billion worldwide Highest-grossing movie of 2017 domestically On course to be the 2nd highest-grossing Star Wars movie ever
Still seeing people online talking about how glad they are that TLJ is "bombing at the box office".

It's visually captivating and more original and imaginative than TFA somewhat. It creates a sympathetic story for it's warrior princess character (typical of Disney). It establishes Kylo as both the main villain and now the tempting bad boy the pure Rey wants to save from himself. (Another winning formula with female audiences). And it fills the movie up with other independent, strong-willed female characters. Don't forget it also has heel male characters and cheesy, over the top Disney humor. So based on those things alone it's not hard to see why it's raking in at the box office. The question is - is it a good Star Wars movie? And I think that's why you see one of the biggest gaps between critics ratings and audience ratings of all time.

Nobody ever said TLJ is, or would be, a bomb--But Disney expected this movie to make $2 Billion at the box office, so anything less than that will be seen as a disappointment--Lowest rated of all the Star Wars movies

Wait, people are arguing that? Seriously? Nobody argues that TLJ is a box office bomb! The OP-er has a propensity to produce himself by debunking points nobody made and building straw men.

Actually, there are people that stupid. I've encountered them in other forums claiming that the movie is losing money even at over a billion dollars at the box office.

Isn't it possible for TLJ to make over a billion dollars while falling below box office expectations?

That is incorrect. Currently, TLJ is at 7 adjusted for inflation ($531,511,800).

It's 7th SW Move (now) adjusted, it's in the link (1 SW, 2 TFA, 3 Phantom). It's 3 unadjusted. But it will still rise, it's only week 4.
