Astrology is unscientific bunkum. 'Astrology consists of a number of belief systems that hold that there is a relationship between astronomical phenomena and events or descriptions of personality in the human world. Astrology has been rejected by the scientific community as having no explanatory power for describing the universe.' Piss on the scientific community. Who, or what, are the 'scientific community'? You mean those people over time who have studied and researched and discovered and proven and experimented and built and have given oafs like you the technology you barely understand?

Yeah, what good use is science for? I'll expect your reply to arrive chiseled in stone and delivered on horseback in a few weeks. Stop making a fool of yourself. Science =/= the "scientific community." Who the hell do you think the ones doing science are? The astrological community?

This is the Religion, Faith, and Spirituality board, and like it or not, astrology is an esoteric field of knowledge that relates.

Enjoy. Disclaimer: The usual. My thoughts: I find stuff like this very interesting. Don't you? Or is "Cultural Marxism" more your speed? So the whole video was a single image, is there any source for what he was talking about?

Hey, Cine, good to see you back - how were your holidays? Full! I received an iron skillet (my request) and spend the whole time cooking fattening things for the family. Buttermilk biscuits, blackberry cobbler, hoe cakes... so much food. Traveled to K.C. for in-law visit - strangely, it was the exact same temp as Chicago. -3 before wind chill. Didn't bother the wife and I so much since that's what we're used to but the Missouri branch of the family thought the world was ending. How was your holiday?

Buttermilk biscuits, blackberry cobbler, hoe cakes... so much food. Traveled to K.C. for in-law visit - strangely, it was the exact same temp as Chicago. -3 before wind chill. Didn't bother the wife and I so much since that's what we're used to but the Missouri branch of the family thought the world was ending. How was your holiday? Geez, now I'm hungry... blackberry cobbler? That sounds so good! My holiday was quiet - my mother's 94 and just got sprung out of the old folk's home rehab the day before Christmas, so it was just her and me. I like to cook, I do it at my house, then package up all the food and take it to her house. I guess it was tastier than the food at the care facility. My New Year's was quiet, too - I never go out on amateur night. So I stayed home with the woodstove going, that bitter cold was pretty intense, and I lifted a glass at midnight and curled up with my nice warm kitties. I'll bet your Missouri relatives were shocked; our last few winters have been unusually mild, but I've been here for a lot of years that were so cold that my hair, if damp, would freeze and break off. Country living is always an adventure!
