...to end the suffering of neglected and abused animals during the winter?
And how do you feel about that issue?

My girlfriend Maya is unable to post now, but I told her about your thread on the phone. She said that the ASPCA is being selective, and they do nothing about the Amish puppy mills.
EDIT -- She sent me this video by email:

EDIT -- She sent me this video by email: I can't watch that video. If I did I would have to go out and shoot Amish people, or open a vein and die because I cannot stand the thought of what goes on and how little we as humans can do to stop other humans from harming other feeling beings.
Edit: I can't watch the commercial, either, because of the images and the knowledge that the money sent isn't spent 100% on animal rescue - so much of the funds raised go to marketing and "helping" existing shelters and rescue groups. Money spent on education is a conundrum - how much does it really change? IF the ASPCA stated in their commercial that 100% of your donation goes directly to animal rescue, food and vet care, then I might be tempted to support. Yes, they are being selective in what they address.
What do others on this board think?
