Sung to the tune of "He's an old hippie" play the song on youtube while singing it to yourself! And I mean this with the utmost understanding of the struggle to deal with things changing. The first verse has some jabs I just couldn't resist, sorry. We all adjust or we don't.

He turned thirty-five last Sunday
In his hair he found some grey
But he still ain't changed his hairstyle
He thinks the Princess likes it this way
So he practices light saber in the basement of his mom
He's got a gig showing off his moves at his cousin's junior prom
He get's out there in the free trade zone
Sometimes because he thinks this is gonna bomb
Yeh he gets off on cantina music
'Cause Maz she left him cold
He's got young friends into Johnson
But he's just too frigging old
And he dreams at night of Wookiees
And the bridge where Solo died
How clone troopers made him happy
And JJ made him cry
Yea he thinks of Han sometimes
And he has to wonder why
Cause he's an old Jedi
And he don't know what to do
Should he hang on to the old
Should he grab on to the new
He's an old Jedi
Says these new films are just a bust
He can't change what Disney's doing
He's gotta leave it now or adjust
He was sure back when George sold it.
That everyone was hip
Then he lined up to see the new ones.
Hoping for a certain trip
And they forced him hear about a some young woman
While he still sees a girl
And behind each wave of the story
His just wanted to hurl
Now the Force may change around him
But he just can't change no more
Cause he's an old Jedi
And he don't know what to do
Should he hang on to the old
Should he grab on to the new
He's an old Jedi
Says these new films are just a bust
He can't change what Disney's doing
He's gotta leave it now or adjust
Well he hangs around a lot now
On the forums after dark
And he's thinking while he's on rotten tomatoes
That this series has jumped the shark
'Cause him and his kind get more endangered everyday
And pretty soon the Jedis
Will just up and fade away
Like old Luke, Ben and Yoda
Just up and fade away
Yeah he's an old Jedi
And he don't know what to do
Should he hang on to the old
Should he grab on to the new
He's an old Jedi
Says these new films are just a bust

He can't change what Disney's doing
He's just tryin' real hard to adjust
