Seems like Spielberg has lost touch making blockbusters. Ready Player One looks horrible.

Tintin was a blast though. edit: I'd rather have a sequel to that than Ready Player One which I'll probably see out of curiosity. But with TINTIN, it felt like classic Spielbergian adventure.

Man, I HATED Tintin when I saw it in theaters. I watched it again about 2 years ago, though, and I absolutely loved it. It moves so fast and I had a blast. I must've been sick or something when I saw it in theaters. If Indy 5 is as good as Tintin I'll be very happy, but I'm not counting on it.

I remember watching The Adventures of Tintin (2011), and it was quite good. Never read the comics, though. I don't really care about Ready Player One; never even heard of it until this thread.
As for Indy 5, that just depends on what they're gonna do with it. Let's just hope it will be like the traditional formula, but with new elements to make it differentiate from the other movies.

My guess is that they'll take the same route as with THE FORCE AWAKENS and leave the more physically demanding stunts and action to a supporting character. I haven't seen Blade Runner: 2049 yet, did Ford do anything action related in that? How'd he look health-wise?

I haven't seen Blade Runner: 2049 yet, did Ford do anything action related in that? How'd he look health-wise? Yeah, Ford had an actual fist fight with Gosling's character and he seemed credible as a gruff old guy who can handle himself. But in that film and Force Awakens, he was part of an ensemble cast. It's a different situation for Indy 5. I have mixed feelings about a fifth Indy film. One, while Ford's in excellent shape for a man his age, he'll be nearly 80 years old by the time the production begins and I'm not sure how they can pull off an octogenarian leading star doing action adventure stuff. Two, I just feel setting an Indy film in the late 60's or early 70's just feels .... wrong. If they come up with a good story and make this the final one, then OK, but if they're all too busy to focus on this film, then just forget it. I, personally am fine with the four films we have now.
