Around $250 (for two) at Ruth's Chris and I wasn't even that impressed.
Several $200 meals were far better. Whatever the fancy steakhouse at Luxor was called, that was great and I had a similarly great $200 meal at a fancy steakhouse at the resort on Isla Mujeres (off the coast of Cancun).

probably $100 at a local restaurant
however, about 25 years ago the casino i worked at gave employees a free dinner for two for a 10 year anniversary i took my then maybe 8 year old daughter to the top of the line joint at the time there were no limits so i ordered just about everything on the menu (e.g. 10 clams on the half shell,$11. i got three triple orders,$99) i got the kid two steaks,i got two lobsters....and on and on we managed to run up $370,and brought home mucho doggie bags
within a week the policy was changed limiting choices to one appetizer, one entree, etc
and it was all paid for by our current moron in chief...

About 5000 dollars. But before you all wonder what the heck I was eating, the waitress accidentaly punched in some extra zeros on the bill. We got the money back as soon as we discovered the mistake (the next day when we had sobered up).

About $850 a few years ago when the Mrs. and I went to Eleven Madison Park for the tasting menu. What did you eat and was it worth it? It was a combination tasting and alcohol pairing. It was about 15 total dishes. There was seared pork belly, crab claws, an umami-bombed tomato thing (that I'm not doing justice by describing it - this was seriously one of the finest things I've ever tasted), and a slew of other really unique dishes ranging from fish, soups, vegetable concoctions and brilliant deserts. If you've ever done a tasting menu, this was definitely a fantastic one. The alcohol pairing was divine as well. There was sake, wine, beer, grappa...every dish had its own pairing. Was it worth it? I can't say it was the "best" meal we've ever had, but it was certainly an experience that we'll never forget. Just some of the finest, most meticulously constructed dishes either of us has ever had.
