Transformers 5 only made 605m worldwide
Its not unthinkable to see Episode IX drop below 1 billion considering the huge fan backlash of TLJ. Also after the success of Jumanji studios will no longer be afraid to compete against the vulnerable Star Wars franchise

Also after the success of Jumanji studios will no longer be afraid to compete against the vulnerable Star Wars franchise That'll be interesting. IX will make money partly because fans will be curious to see how things end, and it will lose money because many fans weren't satisfied with how TFA's setups were handled, how Luke, Snoke, Finn, etc. were handled, etc.

Also after the success of Jumanji studios will no longer be afraid to compete against the vulnerable Star Wars franchise It's a Disney princess story now. 90% of the Disney faithful will show up for episode IX. So it'll probably make make a minimum of $800,000.

There wonโt be any drop off that will be comparable to Transformers.

There wonโt be any drop off that will be comparable to Transformers. TFA 2.1b - TLJ 1.3b = 800m drop (Biggest Drop off Ever) Transformers 4 1.1b - Transformers 5 600m = 500m drop its already ugly

I bet it'll cross $1 billion. They're going to market the hell out of it and probably really push the fact that it's the "last one".

Perhaps, but it seems no one truly liked the Transformers films to begin with so it was easier to stay away the next time.
