All caught up.
-Hang the DJ - I fucking love this episode. Usually Black Mirror episodes leave me feeling absolutely miserable, but this one did the opposite. Great story, beautifully done.
-The Entire History of You
-Bandersnatch - really enjoyed it once I realized what it was trying to do and say. Will Poulter was awesome.
-Shut Up and Dance - probably the most unexpected twist of the whole series. Not the most complex or original concept for an episode, but excellently done.
-Fifteen Million Merits
-White Christmas
-USS Callister - I don't know how much I like the DNA concept, and the ending seems a little... extreme, but the idea of a geek making himself Captain Kirk in a fantasy world is a fun one and Jesse Plemmons nails it
-The Waldo Moment
-Crocodile - a good "what would you do in this situation?" potboiler.
-Nosedive - of all the future depictions on this show, this one is the one I can most see happening. By design, it's pretty cringy and frustrating to watch. And I don't know what the deal was with the black guy fetish. Cheesy conclusion. But points for the concept.
Black Museum - kinda want to rewatch with the context of it being symbolic of the show and its fans. On its own, it's just okay.
-Men Against Fire - solid, but I've seen it done a dozen times.
-Be Right Back
-San Junipero - didn't get the hype. A little saccharine compared to the genuine feels I got from Hang the DJ.
-Metalhead - basically a Terminator movie. Eh. It's fine.
-Smithereens - what a letdown the last 10 minutes are. Andrew Scott is fantastic, but all of his hard work is wasted once you find out his character's aimless and stupid motive.
-Playtest - a VR game gone wrong, that's a new one! Weak conclusion and Kurt Russell Jr is vaguely annoying.
-Striking Vipers - similar concept to Playtest, with a side of awwwwkward. Is it about homoerotic bromances? Porn addiction? Fetishes? Can a single Season 5 episode figure out what point they're trying to make? No?
-White Bear
-Arkangel - the concept of a mother censoring the world from her daughter is interesting, but it's dropped early on and the rest is just "oh no, is my baby on drugs/getting laid?" Lame.
-Hated in the Nation - I've forgotten everything about this episode. I just remember being bored.
Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too - if not for the sheer edgelordy unpleasantness of Nation Anthem, this would be the worst episode of the series. A Disney Channel original movie only with a doll that says bad words, because that's hilarious and never been done. Legit awful.
-National Anthem

White Christmas, what an ending. Imagine if those two cops had a fortnight off? Plus Joe's Cookie didn't deserve to be punished that way. It reminds me of a Stephen King story called The Jaunt.
Metalhead felt out of place with the rest of the series- did anyone else notice that they used music from The Shining in it?
