Too hard to do, but White Christmas would be the first and The Waldo Moment would be the last. Haven’t seen Season 4 yet though.

I've only seen the original two seasons so far. Ranked:
The Entire History of You - my main takeaway from this episode was that people can look you in the eye and lie right down to the last second, so the "scary technology" ended up seeming more positive than negative. Still, what a potboiler. Had me hooked.
Fifteen Million Merits - I appreciated a more satirical than depressing episode (though still depressing). Kaluya gives the best performance so far in a show full of great performances.
White Christmas - a little predictable, and they straight up ripped off Twilight Zone at the end. Still, a lot of interesting concepts, and each little "segment" had my attention. Also, that girlfriend character was a real B word, like damn.
The Waldo Moment - people criticize this episode for being on the nose, but *every* episode is on the nose. What I appreciated here was that the targets were political nihilists like the South Park guys, who don't get targeted very often compared to, say, American Idol.
Be Right Back - Solid episode. Got the job done.
White Bear - my reaction to this episode was "that's it?" I was constantly comparing it to other things (28 Days Later and The Running Man particularly) and the twist is kind of laughable considering the dullness of what came before it. *Spoilers* "Hey honey, want to go see that show where a woman wanders around, has one or two half assed attempts on her life, and then we throw fruit at her? No?"
National Anthem - very out of place with the other episodes, which is odd considering it's the first. It also completely sucks. I don't know what they were trying to say here, if they were trying to say anything and not just going for cheap shock value. I doubt the PM would even consider doing this for a constitutional princess. Nor would anyone expect him to. Luckily the show had Fifteen Million Merits right after to completely redeem it.

Best to worst...
Fifteen Million Merits San Junipiero Nosedive White Bear USS Callister Hang the DJ Metal head The Entire History of You Hated in the Nation Black Museum Men Against Fire Be Right Back Arkangel Shut Up and Dance Crocodile The Waldo Moment Playtest The National Anthem
A lot of the onse in the middle could shuffle around a but but the top and bottom are pretty certain.
I’m also not sure I’ve seen White Christmas. I feel like I have but the synopsis didn’t ring many bells. So I’ll prob watch it tomorrow to be sure.

They were all pretty great, but the one that sticks hard for me was the one about the lady who lived her whole life according to social media points.
That was awesome - because, we've already started to do exactly that to a large degree. Stupid crap on social media can have real life consequences.
It's really bizarre to me, but millennials who grew up with the internet think nothing of it.
Great show, regardless. I was reading Charlie Brooker columns a long time ago and thought he was brilliant, then next thing you know...BAM, he's got a TV show.
And surprise! It's really brilliant.

I saw BANDERSNATCH and I rank it as #1. No, I didn't make a mistake by including it on this list. It was advertised as a movie, but I consider it to be another episode. Previous episodes have had the runtime of a movie, and there was already another episode that was released on its own instead of as part of a season. Also, the opening title sequence is the same one as always as then BANDERSNATCH is written on screen. That means it's the title of an episode rather than the subtitle of the movie. Anywho... My brain was destroyed after watching it. If I had stopped after the 1st possible ending, I probably would've said the same thing. It's not about the exhaustion of going back and forth; it's about how each path the story takes becomes a mind fuck. Each outcome has a different theme. The interactive aspect doesn't feel like a gimmick, because it's actually incorporated into the narrative. All the twists are surprising and a lot of them are quite funny. Fionn Whitehead's performance is good. I can understand why a die-hard fan wouldn't like this, for the same reason they wouldn't like THE NATIONAL ANTHEM (the only episode that's not sci-fi nor dystopian) or the episodes that have uplifting endings. This episode doesn't really have social commentary. Maybe the notion that the crazier the artist the better the art, but that's reaching for straws. Anyway, I don't think the series must adhere to content rules. That's the beauty of doing an anthology series. Not to mention that, by following this logic, every episode would suck for not being like the first one. The only real flaw in this episode is in the scene where STEFAN fights with DR. HAYNES and then PETER. The cinematography, camera work and editing are awful.

After watching National Anthem and its utterly ridiculous premise, this show is a non starter. National Anthem is one of the worst episodes imo. Most of the rest of the first 3 seasons is much better.
