Yeah, he was my least favorite actor in the movie.

He sounded the same in Arrival so I'm not sure if it's his voice or what.

I think a lot of people found Guerrera over the top. But that was the point of the character that some people seemed to miss. He was supposed to be a battle crazy head case.

He was borderline psychotic, and he was supposed to be. It was a brilliant performance.

Some folks are so desperate to find a reason to hate on STAR Wars.

not sure if his character was butchered in reshoots I didn't care for Forest's raspy voice or over-the-top performance. Personally, I wish they had hired Phil Lamarr to play Saw Gerrera.

He was borderline psychotic, and he was supposed to be. It was a brilliant performance. Why was he supposed to be borderline psychotic? The whole thing felt weird and pointless, especially putting that squid thing on Bodhi. Staying behind to die felt forced because he didn't need to do that. Saw didn't even try to escape.

Yeah, I think heโs a character from a cartoon and I guess they didnโt feel the need to develop his character or explain it because they assumed people knew him from the cartoon. i agree the character was pointless, especially his death. It obviously was supposed to have weight or mean something but since we knew nothing about him it just seemed dumb. He could have gone with them but just chose to stand there because drama I guess?

The movie itself even goes out of its way to tell you the guy's nuts. People didn't miss it, it's just that even though the character is supposed to be like that, it's a borderline performance. Yeah, he supposed to be crazy and fanatical, but there's something about the performance that is just a little... bad
