I don't know. I'd prefer to be mute over either of those 2. If I were mute I could still see and hear films and shows, watch and play games, listen to the soundtrack and listen to music, watch music videos. Getting around would no problem having my sight. I could carry with me one of those white boards like in that episode of Buffy when everyone has their voice stolen. So I could write down what I want to tell others and hearing them would be no problem. I don't know which to choose. Maybe deaf? I couldn't listen to music but I could still watch films and shows, play games, with films and shows I could have subtitles. I could still get around no problem.

Although I'd miss sound, especially music. Of those I'd choose deaf easily. At least 90% of everything you take in/experience is through sight. Adjusting to not having sight would be so much more difficult than adjusting to not having hearing.

I'd imagine just about everyone would choose it over deafness or blindness

You could still "feel" music - I think they make special speakers for deaf people that they place against their chests.

Live in New York City so the obvious answer would be deaf.
