Saw he's having a medical at Everton today on Sky sports news, bit out of the blue but I guess it sounds about right... shame it never really worked out for him but he's not a huge loss. And now we have like.... 1 winger? After Sanchez is off. Great stuff.

I always thought that Wemger f*cked him up by not playing him as a secondary striker, a la Michael Owen

There was one moment during the game against Bournemouth that spoke far louder than just the 2-1 defeat. Look at Wilson's equalizer on '70. He forces it home for 1-1 with twenty minutes still to play. It's anyone's game, right? Three points up for grabs? So as the ball rolls over Cech's line, what does Bellerini, chasing back in vain, do? Pick up the ball from the net and pump it towards the centre-spot for a prompt kick-off? No, he in fact gathers the ball and tries to hold onto it while Wilson makes an attempt to get the ball off him. It appears that Bellerini is content with a point or is sh*t scared that Bournemouth will go on to pot another, which indeed they did. At 1-1 with 20 on the clock, this act of spinelessness speaks volumes about attitude and just how committed some of these Arsenal players really are.

He seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Most overrated player in English football history. Ross Barkley. nah - those have potential - just not acheived it. they need cuddles from the management.. and a mentality shift.

Another one was 'he has an eye for goal and a tremendous shot on him'. Might be better at Chelsea surrounded by better players. He didn't want to play for us so end of story.

His greatest ever moment for Arsenal:
And let us never ever speak of what happened moments later.

Vardy, but my point was they had it - and may never achieve it. potential is rarely realised in the UK. most players come up from lesser clubs that supposedly had less.. but never got the 40k chelsea/city contracts for the u23 championships. but got bit games in champs with big crowds and managers that want/need you to step up. shame

every pro is great and skillful in UK football, however only 5% or so realise some of it - 1%% or less most or all of it.
you get paid 40k to stay until you are 23 at chelsea to play against lesser players (so not being pushed ) with no pressure and no crowds - so its kind of game over at that age.
kane was a fluke , 3rd striker - and only third due to levy's policy. got uefa games - scored loads. then solado couldnt score for toffee , no 2 striker injured - he got a start at totenham PL and didnt stop scoring and still hasnt.
loftus has done the right thing. really promising, watched a lot of him at palace. first few games he was miles of pace. now he is becoming our second most important player after zaha. i hope we can buy him (big if_ huge if)
the man u defender at palace on loan is so fast. but he didnt have the mentality or physicality at the start - he was central - we have moved him wider and he is doing wonders as well.
The england nationals/grown lose's out with no b teams like they have in spain playing to big crowds and under the same infrastructure as the top teams. the under 23 or loan to champs isnt good enough(although the champs is picking up - but league 1 loanies are losing out). but palace are developing players for man u and chelsea. a bit sick but he need them.

I think hel do very well at Everton. Him and Bolassie on either wing with Rooney picking them out at number 10 is a very good attack. They just need to hope that Turkish striker sign is good enough to be on their level of play.
