Do not believe what you read. She has not sleep around. That X-Rated movie with her was a fake. Believe it when I say........... Pam is as pure as a new born baby. She is pure as the driven snow. She is as pure as Ivory Soap. She is as Innocent as a lamb. She is as Innocent as a dove. She is as fresh as a daisy. Pam is as fresh as a rose. She is so pure Mother Teresa would bow at her knees.

Pamela Anderson once sent a letter to our Chief Minister asking not to parade elephants for the largest temple festival in our state. A member of PETA, Pamela, in her letter says that “elephants are close to my heart” and that she is against parading elephants. She made an offer to replace live elephants with dummy ones. "I would like to contribute the cost of providing 30 elephants made of bamboo, wood and/or papiermâché to replace the live elephants. One of the reactions to her offer was, “One cannot go by what a Hollywood actor says, especially when she does not know what she is talking about.”
I can understand strict monitoring or banning the elephants altogether for festivals. But her suggestion is ridiculous.

PETA deliberately says outrageous things for publicity--its part of their media attention philosophy. They piss me off though-I sent them a donation once and they keep sending me tons and tons of pamphlets and other stuff-and I told them don't bother with the printed material-send it electronically and they still do it! I should have donated elsewhere.

I should have donated elsewhere. It didn't cross my mind when I read it first. Now that I think of it, PETA does resort to attention grabbing stuff. Like the naked advertisements. At that time, PETA's and Pamela's antics didn't work. Elephants are still being paraded for temple festivals.

They say that in order to get any attention in the media, they have to do outrageous things just to get a brief amount of attention. Like after 9 11 they said they were going to suspend anti-fur campaigns out of solidarity with New York but the fur people kept using fur so they changed their minds--they knew the fur people would do that-they said they were showing solidarity for publicity sake. And they revoked the statement also for publicity. I dont know how effective it is, usually the way to tell how effective something is is by the number and type of enemies you have. There are wins and losses. Funny thing about Pam Anderson though-when I first saw her in the 90s I thought-she reminds me of Brigitte Bardot--too bad she doesn't do animal advocacy. And then a few years later she was doing it.

I have never understood the big deal with Pam Anderson.
Of the Baywatch actresses i was more into Nicole Eggert.

I mean, there's always going to be people who don't give a damn and wear fur. Unless there's a prohibition, I don't know.

I mean, there's always going to be people who don't give a damn and wear fur. Unless there's a prohibition, I don't know. After 9 11 PETA said due to the event, they would suspend anti-fur campaigns against NY designers (where the attacks happened). Then the fur designers kept using fur so PETA said that since the designers didn't care, they wouldn't either. That was the publicity stunt. Linking the two into a story that the news media carried.
