Ssssshhh. I think he's like Beetlejuice, if you say his name three times he'll appear.

He lives in San Francisco, he probably just woke up. He would have had his alarm clock set to wake up in time for the Oscar nominations just in case WW got a Best Picture nomination. He wouldn't have missed the opportunity to be first on here to gloat.

He lives in San Francisco, he probably just woke up. He'll be taking a loooooong shower this morning I figure if he heads to the computer and reads the news first.

Any predictions on his replies/excuses?
That it's still the best rated Super Hero film on RT? That it had already received a number of nominations at lesser ceremonies? That it was the biggest CBM film of the year (forgetting that the world extends beyond the USA, where it was behind all the MCU films last year)?
Or will all these threads be deleted before he turns up?

As someone who really liked Wonder Woman and is, usually, more amused than annoyed at DC-Fan’s postings… This is still really funny.

He has nothing to be ashamed of. Wonder Woman is still a critically acclaimed blockbuster that has won some impressive awards. And the worst anyone can say about it is that it's good, but overrated. Ohhhh ouch. And if it were nominated for an Oscar it would have been well earned. DC should hold his head high and keep fighting the good fight. I think it's more about bragging about the biggest award. He pretty much hyped up a team for winning the Super Bowl because they won some games. But now we see that they haven't even made it to the Super Bowl.

The only issues existing were of his own making. Now his face is covered in egg.

I will say that DC-Fan should come here and admit that he was wrong, while simultaneously acknowledging that winning or not winning an Oscar has no relevance to a film’s quality (in contrast to his previous position). I also hope that Marvel fans would appreciate it if he did that, in spite of all those threads, and tell him thanks. Then, I think, we’d actually make some progress around these parts.

A no show is very Mellomoviereviewesque. I was expecting a bit more bravado, if I'm honest.

I believe in all honesty that he’s trying to wait it out until (I dunno) everyone forgets about it? Two points: (1) this is not a big deal, all he has to do is say, “Oops, I was wrong,” and (2) this is rather intriguing to watch.

He'll blame the MCU and say that Disney is the reason why Wonder Woman got "snubbed".

I'm sure the Magic Boat didn't help when the Academy members made their decision
