These lines are really outdated and stupid by today's standards. Can anyone think of any other cringe-worth lines from yesteryear?

I would say that "kneel before Zod" has more relevant than the other two. Especially since it became a meme.

Archaic, you keep using this word....I think considering your "outdated" and "stupid" descriptions the word you were seeking is really "atavistic".

Yeah of course they're outdated, a couple of those are lines from decades upon decades ago....

I don't even think most people nowadays know "Kneel before Zod". Heck, most people don't even know who Zod is. As for #2, I doubt many people aged 40 and below can recite the entire line correctly from pure memory.

By the way, Tristan's Journal , I was trying unsuccessfully to recall the word atavistic the other day (for my comments here on Helen McCloy). Try as I could, it just wasn’t coming to mind. Thanks!

To be fair, a lot of people remember the bullet and the building but seem to forget the locomotive part.

I would only say the faster than a locomotive line is outdated, the other two still work and don't sound out of place, then again some superhero names or nicknames seem outdated now, Iron Man & the Man Of Steel for instance don't describe either properly but then gold titanium alloy man and the man of chromium don't quite have the same ring to them.

Yeah of course they're outdated, a couple of those are lines from decades upon decades ago.... Well, King Kong Shady also thinks that "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal" is outdated.

Well, King Kong Shady also thinks that "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal" is outdated. That's not a line from a superhero movie, Always Wrong. Nor does it quite fall under the category of "really outdated", "stupid" and/or "cringe-worthy". You and your endless unforced errors.

I am trying to remember any lines from the superhero movies made in the past decade that would be considered memorable. Name one line from a DCEU or MCU movie that is as well known to people of all ages worldwide as "I'll be back", "E.T. phone home", "Hi, I'm Chucky. Wanna play?" or 'Welcome to prime time bitch" 'cause I am struggling to come up with any. I would actually say there have been more memorable lines in Disney animated movies than live action movies.
