They've done it with just about every other DCEU movie so why not?

They've done it with just about every other DCEU movie so why not? More than anything else that's the most irritating thing WB does. Just release the whole thing dammit.

Hopefully Joss Whedon filmed a whole other movie while no one was looking.

Hopefully Joss Whedon filmed a whole other movie while no one was looking. I think that's more J. J. Abrams' schtick.

I hope so.
The theatrical version we got was a major disappointment. Honestly they should have delayed the film to give Snyder some time off after his family tragedy.

this one and Rogue One are two recent films I would gladly pay to see the original cut of. I liked the theatrical version of JL well enough but the forced, silly post-humor and some of the TV-like cinematography bothered me at times, though not as much as much as in other films such as Last "Yo Mamma" Jedi or Marvel films.

On another thread, I posted a link for an article where they pointed out that a Director's/Snyder's cut won't be likely, as Snyder had to leave early enough in production that the stuff he filmed didn't have finished CGI touch ups, music, audio, and whatnot. That it would be a hefty price tag (higher than removing the infamous mustache) to finish up those scenes he shot but Whedon dumped, then put them back in. So sadly, I doubt we'll ever get a Snyder's Cut -- unless it is 20yrs from now as some special anniversary thing, when DC is willing to pump more money into a finished movie, to bring new special features to justify having a new edition of the movie that people would buy.

I think so too. Snyder cut would not just be a cut but an alternative film lacking post production. So...
