I'm seriously thinking that this is gonna be a thing at WrestleMania this year. WWE is moving at a pretty quick pace with these first ever womens matches. Hell in a Cell and Iron Woman matches last year, Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches so far already this year. WWE is going to have a match at WrestleMania to incorporate multiple women into it to get them all on the card much like the Andre battle royal does for the men.
Is it a coincidence that WWE mentioned Chyna twice last week? HHH on RAW 25 and Stephanie at the Royal Rumble? I don't think so. I think this thing is coming.

I very strongly doubt that it will be called the " CHYNA MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYALE", It most definitely should be but I am certain that it won't. Not if Stephanie McMahon (who runs the WWE Women's Division and has never been a fan of Chyna) has any say in the matter.

They've already changed there stance on not mentioning her because of the porn stuff. She was proudly mentioned twice within 7 days by both HHH and Stephanie. They're no longer hiding it. It's easy to move on from certain grudges when somebody has passed on. Hell, look at the potential Macho Man theories out there. The biggest issue was the comments HHH made saying "if kids google Chyna what would come up?" Well...they no longer seem to care as they mentioned her twice in the "road to Wrestle Mania". This whole thing builds up to her HOF induction as they will basically try and capitalize on her name which is sad because they basically waited for her to die before they recognized her.

Well I had the idea right just not the name. It's the Moolah Battle Royal instead of Chyna.

I don't think Moolah should be honored at all. If there was any justice at all she would've spent most of her life in prison. But technically she never really broke the law.

I'm just learning about the stuff that she did after seeing all the blow back WWE rightfully so was getting on Twitter for naming it after her. I hope that they do the right thing and change it but they like to write their own version of history so I'm not holding out much hope that they will.

Among other things, people call her a pimp. To me she's much worse than that. Actual prostitutes willingly decide to have sex with people for money. Moolah made deals with promoters who paid extra to have sex with the girls and also for the girls to service the other wrestlers. The girls didn't even know about any of this and if when the time came, they refused to have sex with all the guys, they got raped. There is a cold place in hell for somebody like her

Just the timing of this whole thing is just so stupid from WWE's perspective. Hollywood is going through this #MeToo movement and WWE does this? I know it's been often reported about how Vince is like 5 or 10 years behind in terms of current events and pop culture but how the hell could Stephanie let this slide? I'd almost expect Vince to be like "What the hell is this #MeToo thing?" when it's 2023 and he's trying to get with the times 5 years late. Sadly they're too stubborn to admit they were wrong in such a situation so we're likely stuck with it for at least this year and then maybe next year they rename it and try to act as if this whole thing never happened. So many other women that they could have named this thing after.

I feel bad for the female superstars that are having to tweet out support of Moolah while getting replies about the kind of person she was. They likely have zero to do with the name of it or have any impact on it unless they walk out and risk losing their jobs which I don't think they have the leverage to do. They're just at the mercy of it all and it sucks for them. Just constant tweets of praise for Moolah from the likes of Natalya from such a respected family make me really think that they're told they have to tweet these things out to possibly try and drown out the negative chatter. Tough place to be in for them.

She stayed on top for so long because she controlled all of women's wrestling. She trained them all, controlled their pay and who got booked and controlled all their lives. Read all this and it will make you physically sick that this woman was even allowed to breathe the same air as other humans. lastwordonprowrestling.com/2018/03/13/the-brutal-history-of-fabulous-moolah/

There's no reason at all to hold her in high regard. Chyna was a mess of a person but at least she was mostly just harmed herself.

In no way was I in any way defending her. I was just saying how much of a shit position the women on the roster were put in for having to tweet out praise for her and it came across like they were told to do so. The whole thing in regards to Moolah's past is horrible. I read an article about Georgia Brown's son trying to figure out who his father was and it went into detail about the things she dealt with. The stories of the forced drug intakes and selling her "protege's" to locker rooms that they were completely unaware of and if they declined they'd be beaten or raped. It's all just disgusting and she has no place in WWE's history books. She should be taken out of their HOF and never brought up again. I'm glad to hear that they took her name off of the match but still the fact that they tried to do this is disgusting.

Yeah and if everybody is trained to work a certain way, and that way isn't all that special, then they're all nothing special. Which is what she wanted so she could stand out and not get outshined.

I just thought it made for a good read for anybody that didn't know any of the stories. I don't know if anybody was forced to defend her, but maybe they just weren't aware of the history. But you would know that better than I would since I don't really keep up with the current product or the women in it.

On a side note, I think my first title change I ever saw live was Moolah losing the title to Wendy Richter. Even in 1984 I knew she sucked.
