I mean, if thereβs any one DC character thatβs right up his alley, it would be Lobo. I canβt say Iβd have much interest in seeing the movie though.

That doens't make any difference. If WB wants a PG-13 movie, they will get it.

And people wonder why DC makes such bad movies. See though this is why I'm not necessarily angry. Lobo is big loud and stupid. That's Michael Bay's modus operandi. Plus his contempt for the human race might actually compliment the character's '90s nihilistic sensibilities.

Don't see it happening, Bay has turned down many superhero movies in his career and expressed disinterest in directing them in the past, and given that WB has trouble keeping directors on board he'll probably exit soon.

First of all, Transformers franchise, although based on a toy line, is also a comic book and animated series and Michael Bay didn't turn that down. Second of all, The Hollywood Reporter notes that, although there have been no negotiations nor an offer, there is a dance going on between Bay and his agents and the studio. They even said that Bay is keen on the massive nature of the current script that reports say would cost $200 million (but the studio is not happy with the budget). If the rewrite by Jason Fuchs can get the budget down while still maintaining its massive nature, then Bay may be still interested.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! DC will be F' up even worse than after Snyder if they let Bay direct Lobo. The guy does make entertaining movies, and that's probably what ultimately most people want to see in theaters.

On top of that, the dude is a leering, sexist asshole with a lousy sense of humor. A great choice for WB's answer to "Deadpool"!

Even if it's given the okay, I wouldn't know who to cast for the part. My top choice was Tom Hardy and needless to say, he's busy. Jason Momoa might have worked but he's also occupied.
