Because God doesn’t love the rest of us like he loves Elijah? or the Way He Loves Mary? There’s no biblical reference for that as far as I know.

or the Way He Loves Mary? There’s no biblical reference for that as far as I know. The only reason is because when the New Testament canon was put together, the Church Fathers wanted only focus predominantly on Christ, rather than His Apostles or His disciples. That is why St. James, the brother of St. John, is the only Apostle, whose martyrdom is recorded in the New Testament. However, the martyrdom of ALL the Apostles were written down, as was the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Assumption Of The Blessed Virgin Mary

You don't have to. Just put on Stravinsky's Orpheus. Or make love to a beautiful woman you're in love with. Or visit a place like Zion National Park. There are a lot of ways you can experience Heaven now.

No wonder there's so much confusion and disagreement about the Holy Ghost and the Trinity.

As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 2 Kings 2:11The Bible also calls the place where birds fly "Heaven"...... True, but that’s only a reference to the first heaven. Remember, there are three different “heavens” because in Biblical Hebrew the word heaven has three different literal meanings. The first heaven is the sky (where the birds fly); the second heaven is outer space (where the stars and planets are); the third heaven is the spiritual realm of God and the angels (where the righteous and faithful supposedly go when they die). Oftentimes when scripture speaks of creation, it refers to “the heavens” collectively as a reverence for the entire universe. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Corinthians 12:2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know--God knows

Key word: “Assumption” Elijah's physical passage into Heaven was by "Assumption" too. Not for Christians who believe that the bible is the inspired word of god
