So you must be happy that Spike TV no longer exists, its the Paramount Network now. To answer your question though I saw a few episodes but never quite got into it, I did like Sticky as Blade and Jill Wagner was pretty good too. I heard thank god that network was put its misery I hate when networks care for reality tv rather than actual shows. Btw before there was Kat Dennings Jill Wagner was one of the hottest actress in a Marvel product Didn't you say it was Jennifer Garner? |

I'd give it an 8/10. It's very dark, violent and adult compared to a lot of later Marvel fare and benefits from having a strong lead. The CGI is very dated, but the film is 20 years old now so that's to be expected. The villain was OK. Reminded me of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer minus the charisma.
When one takes note of the lighter and oftentimes more 'flashy' direction that Marvel movies went in the ensuing years, it's funny to think that this gory vampire flick was the very first Marvel superhero movie.

Blade is a 90s movie, I guess it was fine for its time? It's ok, hasnt aged well.
