I always got this confused with TIME AFTER TIME (1979).

I always got this confused with TIME AFTER TIME (1979). The method of time travel, and the reasons for it sure were different.

Beautiful actors (and people). Haunting romance and musical score.

I always got this confused with TIME AFTER TIME (1979). Pomme frits! This I did see. Haven't seen SOMEWHERE IN TIME despite Richard Matheson being involved. A little too romantic, not enough Jack the Ripper for me to check out.

For St. Valentine's Day...
I totally agree here geode this most memorable film was just perfect especially for Valentine's Day . Of course to watch all year long is more than acceptable also . IMPO - This classic movie had it all wonderful storyline , excellent all star cast , and the most beautiful settings as well . I have this movie on DVD and it was definitely worth it to own for the DVD collection too . Thanks so much geode for your subject post and this video for the movie trailer as well .

I love that movie. I have not seen it in a really long time, but if I remember correctly it had a very sad ending.

I love that movie. I have not seen it in a really long time, but if I remember correctly it had a very sad ending. Actually Jay the very end of this movie was very beautiful and had complete closure to it as well . I also agree this is a wonderful movie and do recommend watching this one again soon it's so well worth it no matter how many times we view it . Thanks so much Jay for your reply .

This wonderful scene was another favorite of mine in this fine film also . An interesting bit of trivia facts on this scene too . This scene was actually filmed in two separate parts . When Jane Seymour's character " Elise McKenna " was reciting the adlibbed " man of my dreams speech " she was actually telling it to an empty theater with the exception of the director sitting in she was actually looking and telling it to him directly after she finished the speech and the take the director actually blushed over it afterwards . The second separate scene filmed was Christopher Reeve's character " Richard Collier " sitting in a full theater but to an empty stage . Of course all the rest was just awesome editing there after that . Thanks so much geode for sharing this wonder movie clip too .

Such a great romantic movie, that score is perfect and one of the all time greats! Not bad for the director of Jaws 2, another favorite of mine.

This could be an interesting experience. Look at the picture of Jane Seymour three years ago and the dress she is wearing. It looks just like the one she wore on the theater scene in the movie.
