Do you watch anything regurarly before or as you are going to sleep? if so, is it a show? if so, do you have one you fall asleep to on repeat or do you watch different shows each time? or the same show but different episodes?
I gotten into the rabbit (not a very healthy one I admit) of watching a show as I go to sleep. It has to fulfill several criteria though to qualify as my good night show.
1) I have to know the show and had to have seen it at least once 2) If I love the show I have to had seen it so many times that I know it almost by heart, otherwise it doesnt qulify. 3. I i dont love but just "like" the show, its fine if I have only seen it once, and it would qualify 4) it has to be a straight sitcom. Not a dramedy or cringe-com. 5). it has to be a season thats as drama free as possible (almost an entire season 4 of Friends doesn't qualify)
everything thats outside these criteria would distract me from actually falling asleep.
The shows I have been spinning for the past 5 or 7 years are:
1) Community 2) IT Crowd 3) Friends (early seasons) 4) The Inbetweeners (UK version) 5) and I recently added Crazy Ex Girlfriend
I tried it once or twice wit a movie that I bought via Amazon, and after a few weeks (of me playing the movie each night for a bit) Amazon wrote me "we see you are having trouble playing this movie, here is a refund) I guess they havent discovered what Netflix for sure recognizes: there is a certain amount of people who like watching the same things over and over before they go to sleep.
Do you have any "good night shows"? What are they?

It has to be something that has no chance to show a horror movie or commercial.
That usually leads to Food Network or, if I'm home, PlutoTV has a bunch of generic slow tv channels.

Perry Mason.
Quiet voices. Familiar voices. Don't care who dun it. know he will win in court. Sometimes I even make it to the second commercial break.

I usually move between sitcoms I've seen before and I'll watch a couple of episodes before I go to bed. Currently it's Frasier, next will be Scrubs.

Rarely an actual TV show. Either a local FM broadcast radio simulcast or a movie on one of several Encore channels, both via Xfinity cable.

I tried that several times, but it usually keeps me awake because of how entertaining it is. I guess it would take me knowing it almost by heart (like I know Friends and Frasier) before I could use it to fall asleep to. But usually when I watch it I just catch myself marveling at how amazing the writing is.

Family Guy or Mystery Science Theater 3000. Family Guy always irritated me for some reason. Might be the animation style actually. While I do like Seth McFarlane, and will watch his movies, Family Guy just missed me completely.

I usually fall asleep to YouTube videos. Gaming stuff or podcasts about whatever. I did that the other day. Wasnt bad. Watched someone play Kingdom Come: Deliverance for a few hours and eventually just let autoplay rock me to sleep with other gaming videos. But the sound effects usually disrupt my attempts to sleep, with gaming videos.
