This show is fantastic. Noah Hawley is a god writer. End Point. Also he was an actual fan of the character, knew a lot about the mythology and have I mentioned good, imaginative and compelling writer. something x-men stories should always have in films or televesion. Many TV shows fall off by season 2 and do not live up to their predecessor but channels like FX, Hbo, showcase tend to escape the curse with their own shows.

Most likely he was reached out to develop a series based on the character and if he signed the contract FX would greenlit other productions of his down the road. Chances are he never picked up a comic with the character till after he signed an agreement to create the program. And yeah, he's just using the basics of the character to tell his own story, outside of David and the Shadow King and references to Professor X the situations and characters are really his own creation.

Like being a basement-dwelling CBM virgin , but still barking in heat whenever a woman pops up on TV or in the comics.
Only a fool would agree with you without any firm evidence. So, where is your evidence...(making stuff up is not evidence).

Really enjoying this trippy/very weird show a lot. Loved the 1st season and loving that they aren't toning it down in season 2 (in fact, it seems like they are doubling down on the bizarreness haha)
My biggest concern is the ratings though. Ratings have been pretty lackluster (from what I've heard) . Hopefully FX doesn't pull the plug on this too early.

Season 2 has been good so far. It looks like they're setting up some things for future seasons. I like the Shadow King, but I hope they lose him for the next season. I'd like to see them fight some different villains.
