For anybody interested in seeing that most recent TV series on Crime Story, my advice to you is start from the second last episode, & work your way backwards (still watch the last episode last though).

I don't know about that, hut the show did get better as it went along. I started out hating the lead to empathizing which was really interesting.

Can't wait for this to be on Netflix. Cunanan caused a scene at the bookstore I worked in a few months before the killing spree. He was an incredible jerk and made up this story about how he was an executive at Target and would contact the bookstore hierarchy to get my boss fired.

Must feel pretty weird to have had a brush with serial killer, such as him. I knew a girl who had been murdered. The police never made an arrest in her murder, & it has been 24 years since it happened.

He was such a bizarre psychopath and reduced my very nice boss to tears so I would have remembered him forever even if he had never turned out to be a murderer. One could tell things were never going to go well with this guy's life.

BTW Faustus, As someone who once did watch a re-enactment of someone I once knew, I can tell you from first hand experience, that it was one of the most gut wrenching experiences I ever had. I even wrote about it for IMDB, for its reviews. You can read my review for yourself, right here: On Watching Something You Have First Hand Experience WithSo, all I am saying is, be careful, when you are watching this series about Andrew Cunanan.

He was quite the narcissist.

Have you seen any documentaries about him? He was quite the narcissist. Not sure. I just remember reading/watching something about him where one of his psycho behaviors was making up stories about being Important People with Power and that was the moment I realized he was the jerk at the book store. I mean, maybe I'm wrong, but he looked just like the bookstore jerk, acted like him, and the mall where I worked had a Target store that was known throughout the state as a hookup locale for gay guys.

Yeah, I tried watching it a week or two ago but it was too cringe-inducing. Watching his escalating lies to Versace to become his confidante just drove me crazy. I'll go back to it once I've caught up on some of the other shows I've been following, like Sharp Objects.

I complete bought the story. I have wondered where they have it from, what the source was. I don't think that Versace was too interested in Cunanan. I think the rejection made him a target. Because he also killed the two other gays he was friends before and later rejected him. I watched the background stories before and I didn't learn anything new. Nonetheless, the performances were great and they put a lot of work into it.

Yes, basically it is a testament to his performance that I had to turn the show off and watch something else, because he was nailing what was so pathetic and annoying about Cunanan in the first place. I just wasn't in the mood for watching a train wreck at that time. Or at least, not that kind of train wreck of someone needlessly digging a hole for themselves. I'll definitely return to it eventually.
