Deadline have calculated the profits for the most successful movies of 2017, doing a Top 10 and all three of last year's Marvel movies were in it.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was the 9th most profitable movie last year and generated $155 million in profit. That was less than the previous movie however which did $204 million in profit.
Thor Ragnarok came in at 8th with profit of $174 million which was an improvement of Dark World doing $139 million.
And then finally Spider-man Homecoming was actually the most profitable of their movies last year. The 7th most profitable movie of the year, it made $200 million in profit. That's almost triple TASM2 which only did $70 million profit.
As a bonus Wonder Woman was ranked 6th with $252 million which was drastically more than Batman vs Superman which did $102 million.
Black Panther is currently estimated at $460 million for profit.

Is that just movie profit?
Because thanks to George Lucas, toys/merchandise are a huge piece of the pie. I read the only reason there was an Incredible Hulk movie was toy sales off Hulk warranted it.
So GotG was 9. How much did Marvel make off stuff?
I picked up a Marvel Legends of Thor at Best Buy. I don't know how much of the $50 (or was it $100?) Marvel got, but they got something. Also got the Pop Thor & Loki from Game Stop.

Fewer people saw GOTG2 at the cinema more than once than they did with GOTG1.
