Hi,
Can anyone tell me some great (soft) rock songs from the late 60s-early 70s with instrumental/solo's in it like:
The Doors - Light my Fire The Beatles - I Want You (the last part is fantastic) Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird Pink Floyd - Money
Can't think of anything else right now but I hope you get the idea for what kind of songs I'm looking for. Thank you.

Thanks guys, I have listened to them all. Especially Green Grass and High Tides sounds really good. Any more songs are welcome. Is there any way how I can search for songs like this?
I cant find the right version on Youtube but Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix is also a song that I can add to the list.

2120 S Michigan Ave – The Rolling Stones (mid-60s homage to Chess Records whose address is the title)
Slunky – Eric Clapton (the opening is rather protracted but I like the guitar solo that follow)
Cleo's Mood – Junior Walker and the All Stars

Sorry, this doesn't fit the parameters, but I like "Celestial Crown" by The Sword. (It was featured in Jennifer's Body.)

Fire On High, one of the best, mostly forgotten rock (i.e., NOT "soft") instrumentals from the 1970's.. (Note: If you've never heard it before, it starts oddly, and meanders just a bit, but give it a chance......at about the 1:18 mark it slowly starts kicking in.......and finishes with a BIG bang!!) SAVE FERRIS

There is a 15 minute version of Gary Moore doing his instrumental 'The Loner' live on YouTube.
Just sensational
