I bought the game because not only am I a fan of the Stars Wars universe but I the Mass Effect trilogy was my favorite games. Knights of The Old Republic was Mass Effect before Mass Effect. I only had a chance to play the game on my friend's Xbox for maybe an hour or two. I didn't own the original Xbox so I really missed out on the title.
Mass Effect was the reason I switched from being a Playstation owner to an Xbox guy.
I was buying some games on Game Stop and decided to look up what they had for older consoles and saw this and I just had to get it.
I popped it in my Xbox One and I can actually play it on there and that's awesome! I was going to play this on my 360 but this gives me a chance to play something on my Xbox One instead.
For some reason I need to download a 4 GB update to play the game. I imagine I'm just downloading the game. I wish I could have just popped in the disc and started playing like The Switch but whatever. I'm really looking forward to this.

I let it update while I was sleeping and I got to play a little bit of it this morning.
The start is perfect in that we were thrown right into the game play straight away. It's not like Mass Effect Andromeda where it takes an hour to do anything! Making a character is quick and simple. I do like having more option but I don't get really to in depth as I could in games made today.
Combat is good. It's not a third person shooter like Mass Effect it. I best I could describe is that it's like Kingdom Hearts only you get to have a gun if you want.
And it's easy to learn. I could probably not play this for years and figure out in a minute or two. That's not true for games like Final Fantasy XV. Someone once said the best games are easy to learn and hard to master.
The story is kinda interesting. It's Star Wars so I kind of know the setting already.

Fantastic game. Best Star Wars game ever made, and best Bioware game too.
