Little weird that they tested blood from the shroud of Turin, given that it's not something that existed until more than a millennia after jesus is claimed to have been around.
The others seem to be of almost equally dubious provenance.
And seriously, they didn't DNA test the alleged blood? At least prove that it's all from the same person...

Little weird that they tested blood from the shroud of Turin, Not weird at all... given who they are, the 'evidence' they are working with, and the goal they wish to accomplish.

The original date is in dispute. Ray Rogers found the sample to not being representative of the whole. Either way the Shroud of Turin is one of the greatest mysteries, regardless if its an actual image of Jesus

but as usual, no matter what some people see it pretty much boils down to faith... "Unbelievers are in ignorance of things that are of faith, for neither do they see or know them in themselves, nor do they know them to be credible. The faithful, on the other hand, know them, not as by demonstration, but by the light of faith which makes them see that they ought to believe them, as stated above." (Summa Theologiae II-II, Q. 1, Art. 5, reply obj. 1) or as quoted online in more simpler terms... “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.” - St Thomas Aquinas @graham www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/eucharistic-miracles-confirm-real-presence-of-jesus-christ

Churchmilitant.com? Sounds unbiased. Maybe I should go find what atheistmilitant.com says about it.

but as usual, no matter what some people see it pretty much boils down to faith... Things only boil down to faith in the absence of evidence or when one wants to deny the existing evidence.

That article states that the DNA on two samples were exactly the same. I would like to see them and show them to my sister who is a DNA expert.

In 1999, " The Outer Limits" TV Series did an interesting episode call " The Shroud"... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shroud_(The_Outer_Limits)In the episode, Scientists create a clone from the DNA in the blood stains, found on the "Shroud of Turin". The fetus of Jesus seemed to have advance abilities, such as telekinesis. The science team proposed that Jesus was just an advanced human on the evolutionary path, and nothing more. I've always wondered why that "controversial" episode didn't cause a stir with the religious community... How about this one... Maybe Jesus was an alien... I'm sure the skeptics would go nuts if that were proved to be true! LOL!
