lol, MCU fans talking about crappy storytelling is like the pot calling the glass-kettle black while throwing infinity stones.
Like the ultra messy and poorly thought-through Thor trilogy where every film contradicts the other in tone, theme and character development and it ends in a merry Fraggleorck bromance?
Or like Cap where each film is either a rip off of greater franchises, or a Hail-Hydra laser-gun-in-WWII travesty, or a messy Avengers+ film without the main Hydra villains or dangling plot point resolutions. Let me not even start on Iron Man or Raccoon Turd movies. Dance off, turd blossom
Arguing about comic book movies daily... Lol and you call other people manchildren... I take some responsibility. He didn't realize anyone would talk back and point out the problems in DC's movies and someone actually opposing him drove him mad. He's thin skinned like that. He also has an unhealthy fixation on feces.

In the film, it becomes too dark. You SEE it. It has a real woman standing there wailing over a little boy, there's a musical score. It's a more visceral experience as opposed to a cerebral one. Stephen King, master of horror, the guy who wrote it that way in the first place has always agreed with this. The kid dying was the right ending for the book. The kid living was the right ending for the movie. Speaking of which, this is one of the problems I had with ‘Pacific Rim: Uprising’. The film explicitly showed a little boy getting killed by a Kaiju - and this was supposed to be more lighthearted than the first film!

Getting into arguments over comic book movies daily... Other people on this board are “manchildren” but you aren’t, right? Lol... ^ speaking about poorly though through efforts. I bet you cannot name me 2 of the rhetorical misconceptions and fallacies you just committed. Try me.
