Are they just going to "revive" them in the next movie via time travel or inter dimensional travel?
Because that would be quite lame. If Stark or Cap epically sacrifice themselves I'd like to leave the theater knowing whether or not it's permanent...

Well Cap did say he's finished after Avengers 4. Whenever that is. Iron man may bite the dust and be replaced by Spider-Man (a sort of passing of the torch thing).

Marvel should leave the door open for Chris Evans. Many actors have gotten tired of a role in a franchise only to later wish to return after their careers didn’t turn out the way they planned. Better to have the character’s fate left ambiguous, like get frozen again or sucked into a different dimension. Then you don’t need to revive him in an implausible manner.

Hopefully we do get some permanent deaths. It would be nice if Thanos left something of a big impact!

So him dying and coming back won't make me as angry as him being a Hydra sleeper agent.

"You get hurt, hurt 'em back. You get killed…walk it off."
If anyone dies, Infinity War is going to be the lamest film of all time.

Yes yes of course because its so pretentious to expect characters to get killed in films called Civil War and now Infinity WarIf there are not multiple deaths in IW, you might as well call it Infinity Playfight. No stakes no gains.

No one will be killed then revived via time travel or inter dimensional travel. However, some will be killed then revived via the Soul Stone by Captain Marvel.

Allow me to indulge in my recurring schtick that I know you love so much: GIVE CAP'N MARVEL THE SOUL STONE!!!!!1!!!!2!!!!3!!

If none of these characters are in any danger, they're basically invincible which makes them unrelatable.

Also killing makes more sense for the narrative.

This is probably true, but some of the deaths have to be permanent. Otherwise, what's the point? If the heroes didn't risk anything, how are they heroes?

You could say the same thing about the Donner Superman. He had the power to control time which meant he was never risking anything.

That's why that film fucking sucked and Man of Steel was a better Superman film.

Also, the two people who replied to your post (myself included) were highly critical of Superman. I called it shitty writing and haunted knight said the film sucked.
