I must say that I thought that was really prize arseholery on an almost Glaswegian level last night. In recent years I've tried to grow as a person and all that malarkey, but I have to be honest and say that I've pretty much always found Scousers to be annoying, whinging, emotive, and indeed aggressive, gits. I also found the constant booing of Sterling totally pathetic. If my club got £50m for someone that useless I'd still be pissing myself laughing, rather than being angry about it. Getting back to the actual football, the tie is by no means over, and I'd have a few quid on City even now if I was a betting man. I wish they'd give the Hillsborough thing a rest now, there's paying tribute and there's just mawkish and self pitying obsession. Steven Lawrence levels of over exposure.

Oddly, they are less publicity seeking when it comes to a certain other stadium disaster.

Every single player on the pitch for them moved to them because of the money, and every player for their opponents, the way he's singled out is disgusting. If he were white I don't think he'd get it anywhere near as much.

The thing is, theres no sound in that video from the bus, I think its been tampered with and all the City players are either laughing their heads off like Lingard before that Upton Park game a few years ago. Or maybe they had their big massive earphones on and didn't notice it. What I'm hearing from all the old pro's(except Merson) over the last few days is the bus vandalism shouldn't have affected them

Scousers are scum. That being said, a bit of a fuss about nothing. BBCI watched footage from the BBC that was from inside the coach and apart from things thrown at the reinforced coach what is the big deal? A hostile reception from the home crowd ahead of a huge game? I thought it was pretty cool. Nobody was hurt. You'd think the City players would have used it to get them going. Maybe it should be like N Korea where you have to sit on your hands in case you might applaud.

If he were white I don't think he'd get it anywhere near as much. Yeah, just like Torres when he went to Chelsea with the love and respect of all Liverpool fans... That's just one example though. There are loads of examples of black players being mistreated and/or hated by Liverpool fans and Liverpool Football Club - Diouf, Balotelli, Sakho, Itandje, John Barnes had bananas thrown at him by Liverpool fans until they realised he was pretty good. Patrice Evra was abused by Liverpool fans for being the victim of racist abuse by a Liverpool player only a month or two ago, before that many of them made up lies about him playing the race card. Mason Holgate reported racism by a Liverpool player, he was immediately targeted by Liverpool fans calling him a liar and trawling through his Twitter feed since he was about 15 to try and find stuff to get him banned for, same happened to an Oldham player a few years ago when he was racially abused by a fan, other fans said he was lying. Diouf, a former Liverpool player, said there is racism at Liverpool, that they don't like black players and that Gerrard is racist, Gerrard denied it, what did Liverpool fans and Liverpool FC say? He's lying, Gerrard is a good lad. In all of these cases Liverpool fans believe the person with lighter skin and say the darker skinned person is lying. Obviously it's not universal - sometimes they hate white players like Torres, sometimes they love black players like er.... Mane, I guess? - but black players certainly get a lot less leeway. If a white man says one thing and a black man says the opposite we know who will be believed.

Just watching the highlights again now and wishing those same scumbags attacked the Chelsea bus back before the SlippyG game years ago.
