You've never seen his brilliant, thespian performance in Hard to Kill?: Ha no. It's been recommended a lot but I havent got around to it.

It's the only one of his I have seen ( excluding the Kurt Russell movie where his participation is kept as a surprise). Executive Decision (1996) Excellent movie IMO.

It's the only one of his I have seen (excluding the Kurt Russell movie where his participation is kept as a surprise). You've never seen his brilliant, thespian performance in Hard to Kill?: His earlier and more gritty/urban inner city cop films, such as Above the Law, Marked for Death and Out for Justice are all worthy to seek out, as well. I re-watched The Glimmer Man and On Deadly Ground earlier last year. Neither comes close to the films mentioned above, nor the Under Siege films. But they still is a lot of fun, specially The Glimmer Man, which seems to switch from buddy cop action, towards a more darker crime serial murder thriller. Somehow, my favorite of Seagal's later 90s releases, have always been Fire Down Below (1997), but I guess by then, his heyday years as a box office draw, were over, and beside Exit Wounds (2001), it was mostly the DTV/VOD routine for years to come.
