Judging by the way Disney is handling Star Wars and the fact that the future of the franchise doesn't look so bright, I say very much so yeah.

Maybe. I like Rogue One though, but admittedly this too feels like SW hardcore fan-service porn. At least R1 came up with a few cool new thing like the U-Wing, and it had stakes.
So, there is still hope I guess.

It will be the last star wars film, imo.
Just like you can't have Pf without roger waters: (because they tried to carry on without him, but didn't quite work) You can't have SW without Lucas, lol. (because they tried to carry on without him, but didn't quite work either)

Episode three is one of the worst in the series. If it weren't for AOTC, it would probably be the worst in the entire series.

Yeah probably. But I agree with Tristan's Journal - Rogue One could be said to qualify for that. TLJ? The fanbase has spoken rather articulately and thoroughly on its failures. TFA? It was a bunch of mystery box and Disney warrior princess nonsense slathered in a ton of nostalgic ANH rehash. Star Wars junk food. Garbage in, garbage out.

ONLY Star Wars (1977) and The Empire Strikes Back (1980) ARE GREAT!!! ONLY they will EVER BE classics.
