As a kid, I'd definitely say Ray. 30 years later, the cynical nature of Dr. Venkman holds more appeal.

As an adult I agree that Venkman fits the cynicism most adults harbor. Ray is the kid in me, the idealist of the ghostbusters' he was the heart and soul, my vote goes toward him.

I think Ray is the kid-favorite.
I think Venkman is the adult favorite.

I know this poll has been closed awhile but GB came on one of the over the air channels the other night and Egon still cracks me up. His facial expressions and the Twinkie description is hilarious. I still love his conversation with Janine. “Print is dead”
