I'm hooked; the visuals of how the planet got to be the way it is today is stunning, and the host Will Smith gives it an 'everyman' kind of viewpoint, but the real draw is in the astronauts interviewed about what they saw from space and the lovable 'geeks' who go into every corner of the world after their individual 'holy grail' to understand how life started on this planet.
Edit: from the website -
“’One Strange Rock’ explores how intricate, interwoven and fragile life as we know it is on Earth and how rare it may be in the universe. The more we appreciate how awe-inspiring the development of life on this planet has been, the more likely we are to become inspired stewards of the home that sustains it.”

I haven't watched it, but at any point does Will Smith say 'Welcome to Earf'?
