A movie that wasn't expected to be this successful at the BO, and now is close to hitting 800 million worldwide says it all. That's correct. NO ONE expected WW to be so successful. Not even WB expected WW to be so successful. That's why they initially didn't sign Patty Jenkins for a sequel. Failed to beat GOTG 2 , DCEU beaten by marvel yet again , justice league will be a big flaming pile of poop , you lose dcfan

marvel is way ahead of DCEU , biggest superheroes of all time hat have had dozens of films couldn't even make more than captain America or get any where near avengers 1.6 billion hahahaha it's all down hill now for DCEU Besides all that, I thought Wonder Woman wasn’t going to make $800 million. What happened? It hasn't made 800 million is what happened o dog

Dude, DC has yet to even break a billion TDK and TDKR both broke $1 billion. As for DECU, they've only made 4 movies so far. It took MCU 6 movies to break $1 billion. Moreover, MCU has had 7 movies that couldn't even reach $650 million. All 4 of DCEU's movies so far have had no problem passing $650 million.

DCEUs failure is now complete, no DCEU film will ever cross a billion , thats really sad, DCEU failing , DCEU on the decline, DCEU has peaked Maybe, but it'll probably be a better film than The Force Awakens 😄😂 TFA was a good film that made 2 billion dollars, it was rated very highly by critics and fans, Justice League will be rated poorly and will not make a billion, your analysis of the situation is poor and inaccurate

fair enough, just watch out that you do not turn into an acute case of Freudian castration anxiety. Look, considering and honoring the fact that we are mortal enemies since IMDb days, it's only fair that we can finally agree that both films are epitomes of a chronical lack of imagination and substance. Which one is worse is a matter of taste in the end. To paraphrase more imaginative minds: If there's a bright center to the universe, these are the types of films that it's farthest from...PS: Please put on one of your avatars for nostalgia reasons again, I liked the Twilight one with the pretty girl best. Tristan , whilst i take a break from eating your slut of a mothers minge out, why do you think TFA had so high critical scores and made so much money ? if i dont respond in the next 30 mins its because im spuds deep in to your whore mothers twat

'Answer the Call' is "harmless"? I'm sorry, but that film contains what might be the most blatant f**k you to fans of a series towards the end - yes, I'm talking about that scene where a main villain gets defeated because he got shot in his crotch. Not only this comes off as a blatant male bashing, but it also comes off as a director not keeping his hatred towards fans of 'Ghostbusters' series away from the film, and the fact that the whole thing doesn't make sense even within the context of a film whatsoever makes it even worse.
Oh, and the film itself has issues as well since it has no idea what it's trying to be.

hold on a minute , are you saying TFA doesnt fit in with the SW universe? i thought you said it was a rehash ? it should fit perfectly then ?
i think your rather stupid arent you ?
The characters don't fit. The Rathtars don't fit. The dumbass force vision from an object doesn't fit. The force being magic doesn't fit. The character arcs from the OT characters don't fit. The Mary Sue doesn't fit. Seeing a planet explode in real time as if it were in the same solar system when it's actually 10's of light years away doesn't fit. ...I could go on. You really need it all spelled out for you, don't you? It can be a shallow rehash with shit characters and dialog, it's the plot tropes and major points that happen in nearly the same order as ANH that make it a rehash. then star wars isnt for you my friend, you dont get it the way we do , do no watch any more star wars films , do not comment on this board anymore, you dont get it , you are not worthy , you are too young to get it

Since this isn't YouTube... Who are they? And some people r 2 difficult 2 please. It's not either or, the movie was garbage. But most of us who disliked TFA enjoyed Rogue One. It wasn't fantastic, but it fits better in the SW universe. So how the hell does that make us 2 difficult 2 please? hold on a minute , are you saying TFA doesnt fit in with the SW universe? i thought you said it was a rehash ? it should fit perfectly then ?

furiousstyles77 reminds me of ThorSkywalker & HeloGreedo on YouTube. Like those two not one critique of anything Disney Wars from furious styles. I'm glad your enjoying your reheated leftovers from the early 80's I guess a few people r real E-Z 2 please. I prefer fresh food & movies. so it has to be fresh to be good does it ? is dunkirk a fresh movie ? how many war films have we all seen ? its still a good movie even though similar ones have been made.

looks like we have the 5 amigos in one place, hello jedan how the devil are you , so lets focus on this rehash, reboot issue you have , tell me why you think this is such a big issue for you that it makes TFA such a poor film ? do you not like the OT ? you do realise we are dealing with a sequel set 30 years after the OT? why should things be radically different ? and why is it so important to you that they are ?
Can we not have old and new which is what TFA delivers ? if you take a 747 from 1983 and one from today , theres not much change is there, i dont understand the desires of some to deliver a star wars sequel movie that has to be radically different than anything we've seen before, too much risk after the prequels, TFA was sucessfull enough to say they did the job well.
We had this exact discussion countless times, amigo. Look, we agree on R1 (flawed but good film worthy of the franchise). But we will never ever agree on TFA. It's like asking you to blow JarJarBinks and to enjoy it; or mutatis mutandis, asking me to blow JarJarAbrams, Emo Ren or even Marey Sue. TFA is too much an insult to anything creative, original or cinematic to be acceptable for me (both sober or drunk).
As a SW fan I desperately tried to like it 4.5 times, and the last time I wanted to destroy the damn BR out of drustration and fury (that damn hug scene...shudder...). I even accepted TPM after initially hating it in the cinema. I just does not work with TFA for me.
Let's hope we leave EpVIII holding hands like with R1, or it will be full-scale fanboy wars again i tell ya. Better get ready.
Batha Poo doo , i just saw someone in the gym put the water bottle in the pringles holder on the tread mill

I SECOND THAT REQUEST... The poster sounds like a retard who has lost all sense of reality, and it's a real pain in the ass trying to figure out what he is trying to say with his large paragraphs of Jar-Jar gibberish... I agree... While I do like the variety of different planets that are featured in the Star Wars universe, sooner or later, it should be expected that similar planets will be featured... I also agree here too. So what if TFA was a rehash of what has been? There is the old saying that "History Repeats Itself" It's stupid to think this only happens on Earth... And as you put it, many people had trouble with the prequels... TFA seems like a story, that's is intended to get the franchise, back on track, and to lay a sturdy foundation for future films... No movie can please every whiney crybaby out there. People need to get over TFA... It's what comes next that people should be worried about.... Exactly! It's always interesting how these people who constantly bitch about how bad these films are, and never provide any of their brilliant insight into how the movies should have been... Yes. As I said, the movie wasn't made for to please every whiney crybaby out there, such as the "Han Solo" or "Luke Skywalker" fan boys. TFA is just a fucking MOVIE that was meant to entertain fans of the Star Wars "Universe", for a couple of hours with a bag of popcorn, and take their mind off the real troubles in their personal lives... Assuming that people have "lives", that are not all about some fictional universe call Star Wars...
^^^ My goodness, comedy gold! This obtuse exchange amused me more than it should, and made me remember the times when the TFA came out. You will never find a more wretched hive of fallacies and stupidity than with these TFA fanboys. Just a few points, out of this cornucopia of idiocies: - History repeats itself? Do you even understand what that means? Care to name one historic example where history repeated itself plot beat by plot beat...? - People do not suggest how do it better? What a dimwitted deflection, that's not their job. And suggesting not to rehash everything but to come up with something of your own (when allegedly claiming to be a “creative”), and suggesting to avoid plot holes and lore inconsistencies, to write congruent characters and storylines, to avoid fanfic MS writing etc seems already a great quality suggestion. - "The poster sounds like a retard who has lost all sense of reality, and it's a real pain in the ass trying to figure out what he is trying to say"? Only thing irrefutably correct here: Perfect self description, MacDumnuth.

The poster sounds like a retard who has lost all sense of reality, and it's a real pain in the ass trying to figure out what he is trying to say with his large paragraphs of Jar-Jar gibberish... Well fuck me dude how many different planets can there be , nit pick much , we've had sand snow jungle water , what the fuck does it matter if the planets are similar ? Why on earth was dqar yavin ? Was it cause you saw a tree there ? I agree... While I do like the variety of different planets that are featured in the Star Wars universe, sooner or later, it should be expected that similar planets will be featured... TFA was the comfort blanket for proper fans that got fucked by Lucas with the prequels, it's our comfort blanket to show us the new and the old and it worked out superbly I also agree here too. What's your idea for a sequel trilogy ? Tell me fantastic story that would of bridged the gap with old and new and not made the same mistake as the prequels? Exactly! It's always interesting how these people who constantly bitch about how bad these films are, and never provide any of their brilliant insight into how the movies should have been... There's always going to be little homo butthurt faggots like you, I remember jedi exactly the same thing happened back in the day , people loving it people hating it Yes. Assuming that people have "lives", that are not all about some fictional universe call Star Wars... thanks , just imagine if it was something completely out there and brand new, it would be too much of a risk after the prequels and it would be unrecognisable , just a movie with the star wars logo , they played it safe, no doubt about it , they went back to basis and copied the same template, not film but the template that the OT was built on and im more than cool with that , a bit of old and a bit of new to give it momentum for the next 2 films , i dig the new characters more so than the prequels, i really didnt care about anakin and i should of , thats whats wrong with the prequels, he annoyed the shit out of me, and considering its the birth of vader in these movies, it should of been so much better. The ST has me excited again.

Maybe this is just because of the way the trailer is edited, but just on the surface level all the action is cool and everything, but it feels very hollow and lifeless. And the CGI doesn't necessarily help it either. Justice league looks fucking awful, like a bag of shite with chips of corn in it , this will be truly rotten garbage

after the prequels we needed nostalgia, whats wrong with that? do you not like the OT or something ? i would of been pissed if we didnt see the old gang in the sequels Havin da Millennium Falcon fly around in action? Great OT idea. Havin da TIE fighters and X-wings back? Good idea from OT. But da only ships? Bringin da old OT gang back? Great idea. But da only thing thems have done different in 30 years is make a baby dat wants to be da new Darth Vader?!? Jakku was Tattooine and D'Qar was Yavin 4... Sun sucking Death Star because twice wasn't enough. And yeah, bigger blows up just as easy with da same strategy from 30 to 40 years ago! At least da middle of TFA felt somewhat original and nostalgic at da same time. Da death of Han and da lightsaber battles kept meesa attention. Da rest of TFA was such a blatantly banal trip back through ANH dat Tarpals wanted to stuff his head up a Bantha's butt! Well fuck me dude how many different planets can there be , nit pick much , we've had sand snow jungle water , what the fuck does it matter if the planets are similar ? Why on earth was dqar yavin ? its a bullshit argument , post prequels everyone was moaning that they wanted a star wars film similar to the OT, well they got one and the same fucks are still moaning, at the end of the day these prequels faggots would of moaned no matter the outcome, even if Lucas , Nolan and Speilberg directed together they would moan, there not real star wars fans, just faggots that love to moan and swallow spunk Is this even true? I didn't necessarily think they were the best fucking thing ever, but they were easily distinguishable as Star Wars. My criticisms were with Lucas and his lack of ability to write consistent dialogue. I didn't jump online and shit on them, I didn't even have arguments with friends about them. Over time they became easier to appreciate. TFA on the other hand was immediately obvious for the derivative garbage it actually is. Enjoy the frothy never ending bukkake of Disney Magic Force Star Wars drivel. thanks you i will enjoy the new star wars films that Lucasfilm make, rogue one was fab aswell, you enjoy wasting time on TFA board continuing to be incredibly butt hurt and jealous of the fact that most people like the films, enjoy the re watches of the PT and all those stupendous poo poo jokes Jar Jar makes and the cartoonist battle scenes viva star wars
