This did it. This movie is what turned me off from Coen brother/s. Must be the worst movie I saw this year. Like worse then Madame Web. So cringe and needlessly crass and not in a fun way.I get it lesbians love oral sex and masturbation, who doesnt, but what does it bring to this movie thats so special that it has to be there so many times?? Even if it was a straight couple I would be asking the same question btw. I really like Beanie Feldstien (she is simply great in everything and is always either funny or likeable) but shes not there enough. Pedro Pascal is in it for less than 90 seconds btw what a FRAUD to put him on the poster/in the trailer. Similar case with Matt Damon. But its just completelt unfunny and uninteresting, doesnt work on Any level. No chemistry no functional jokes no nothing. Cool music maybe, so thats what the 3 points are for here: 3/10 Ugh. its like it was written by an untalented 14 year old. On drugs.
For some reason if it was a straight couple, I think MORE people would ask the same question.
you think? either way, i just dont get what it was supppsed to bring to the movie or its story. it felt forced and repetitive. example of sex scenes done well is in All of us Strangers. there it brings something extra, makes sense. enhances the story and the characters journey. here it just made me like everybody less because it felt so forced and juvenile

I dug it for the most part. Thought it was funny. Miley Cyrus playing a parody of Cynthia Plastercaster, one of the most infamous groupies of all time, is perfect. i am kinda glad it finds its audience. i an sure it was made with love. i am just not its audience i guess. i did enjoy the cameos as well.

That is disappointing. The trailer made it look promising. yes the trailer is So Much better then the actual movie. I really really struggled with this one. couldnt get into it at all, didnt find any of it funny, didnt really like anybody there other than Beanie so the only thing for me to enjoy there was the soundtrack which was cool. It had a cooky energy not unlike Oh, Brother Where Art Thou (which i liked) But I feel like they missed one key ingredience: one of the oddballs has to be likable or sexy. And this just didnt have likability or sexiness. The actresses are of course beautiful, no doubt about that, its the characters that have the problem. one is a super slut without letting the audience understand why, and the other one is too uptight and while we did get a GLIMPSE of insight into her soul its just too little to care. ill be interested to hear someone elses take on this movie.

Average military survivor movie. Hamsworth and Crowe have a good energy together, but its not there for long enough.
The action is solid but as a person who does not enjoy shoot out games I can say “while i see the appeal, this was simply not “my kind” of a movie.
Still didnt walk out because whenever Russell was on screen it was captivating.
At the end there is about 8 seconds where Crowe had a chance to act more and it felt a bit like his Gladiator days and I LOVED it, wish they made that particular moment last longer - youll know it when you see it.
Overall it was a more or less average flick 5.5/ from me.
Nothing to love but nothing to hate either. And if you love military survival movies and shooting games - this one is for you and you might really enjoy it.

Its so beautifuly shot to showcase passion for gourmet dining that even if you dont love French films/language/cuisine or Juliette Binoche per se I recommend you go see the Taste of Things.
To let yourself immerse into the true Culinery ARTs, without the annyoing commentary that usually plagues cooking shows.
9/10 from me for its artistry.
its billed as romance/drama but to me it was neither it was just full on cinematic immersion into the art of making good food, genre being secondary to irrelevant.
even if you dont love food or cooking you might still enjoy it for the authenticity and the look of 1880 country french cooking.

ok it was REALLY bad as a movie - horrendous dialogue - awful sound design and mix - mediocre cgi (and i rarely say that) - cheap looking sets (omg the “cave”) - Bad acting of almost everybody involved and i mean like super cringe - unlikeable characters. why make the teenagers So selfish and So annoying? Peter Parker was a hero in their age already, its not like their age predestined them to be such awful people. - impotent bad guy - laughable tech use - boring/ bad action
If i didnt have a major crush on Dakota I dont think I could have stayed.
This way I enjoyed each scene she was in because Inlove her face, but, man was the movie bad
3/10 and all 3 points are for Dakota. Who, and I say this with pain in my heart: was terribly miscast here.

I watched it yesterday, and loved it. I liked the juxtaposition of a very intense and dramatic approach to a minor event with stakes that in the grand scheme of things are really not that high. same

It's main flaws (in my opinion): Super flat acting by Dakota Johnson, downright bad acting by the villain, too many sequences of nothing but bad CGI, and and very little superhero stuff for a superhero movie. Positives: I'd still rather watch it than either of the crappy Venom movies that were successful because the world is stupid and we have turned our backs on the gods. Never saw Morbius, so I can't compare it to that. Morbius was Real Bad. Cannot imagine this being worse. i read about Dakota’s minimalistic acting there, but I think thats part of her charm… Well lets see tmr

Heh, I loved it. I don’t think it’s a good film, but it hit a lot of my marks. I loved the production design and the original idea but the execution really turned me off mostly because of how hard it was to root for the main character - especially her relationship toward the sister. What did you like about it?

I quite enjoyed it, though I was left wondering what the whe point was. Nothing really seemed resolved at the end. same but the i thought the msg was “some things are not as clear as it may seem, some choices are harder than that seem and even with great intentions u may end up causing harm. at first i didnt like the end but looking back i value its courage to be more like real life then a typical movie.

Tom Hardy: Bronson Heath ledger : 10 reasons I hate about you Matt Damon: The Departed/Oceans 11 Ryan Gosling: Drive Toni Collette: HEREDITARY!! giver her the oscar already!! Rebecca Hall: The Gift Gary Oldman: Tinker Tailor/ Leon Leonardo DiCaprio: The Departed (duh!!) Dianne Keaton: Manhattan Mystery Murder Jack Nicholson: One Flew Over the Cockoos Nest
How is everybody NOT saying DRIVE for Goslin is beyond me.
Just saw it at the cinema today and it was the best Gosling I ever saw. Beautifuly tender and nuanced acting.

Saw 4 movies at the cinema today and this one was great. Nuanced complex human story about a young teacher trying to do the right thing but potentially doing it wrong. felt very topical, original and beatifuly acted. loved/hated the ending 8/10

bold choices were made - fake (arabic sounding) language, very dark visually and thematically, and everybody looks somewhat similar becayse they all wear the same thing and many of them have the same hair style and oval face.
It was VERY hard for me to know who is who and to understand the plot and ending properly.
Felt very disconneted from the movie even though the acting was great.
Also too gore and loud for my taste.
Only go if you like that kinda stuff.
5/10 from me

no its a soulless John Wick rip off minus the humor. Bored me for most of it and I love Statham otherwise.
5/5 at best.
