The downfall of Sega is still one of the corporate tragedies of the recent past.

Alright fellas be honest with me. How many of you watched the entire Twilight series? And don't give me that "My girlfriend made me" nonsense. I made my GF watch the saga with me. Several of them. They suffered, I rejoiced. Team Vampire. Gushy stuff.

There are so many sad and miserable souls who actually think ‘Twilight’ series is better than MCU here. oh come on, Twilight may not have the raccoon turds but it got the sensitive nipples just like MCU. Let's not forget you used a Bela Swan avatar on ImDb to the bitter end, just saying.
So be honest: are you more team vampire or team werewolf?

Nolan-Batworld and the current DCEU do not agree very well in terms of realism vs supernaturalism. The DCEU is about cosmic stuff, aliens and huge monsters attacking; Nolan was very grounded (that's the charm and appeal).
So, I am glad they properly rebooted the world building - albeit much too early after such a peak trilogy that is still the unrivaled genre standard. I am not a big fan of singular shared universes as they bring creative staleness and logic leaps. I think it's great that the Joker film takes place in it's own continuity and we that have different Flashes, Supes etc.
Also, admittedly I like Batfleck a tad better than Bale; not to forget that neither Bale nor Nolan wanted to be stuck typecast with this superhero fare. Look what it did to Robert Downey Jun or Jonny Depp, Bale is smarter and more an artist than that...

you should watch them, for the deja vu effect alone. At first view many find them entertaining (as they are essentially a OT greatest hits cover album) - in fact we had a guy who watched TFA 12 times in theaters before he decided that it is irredeemable trash. What these films lack is creativity of their own (new vehicle designs, world building etc) or any form of originality (story wise). Oh, I will. There are still a couple of horror/spooky pictures I want to see, and I really have to finish my Batman story, but after that I’ll try to get The Force Awakens from the library. Speaking of which, TFA was nearly the first Star Wars movie I watched: I was going to see it at the movie theater upstate New York until a snowstorm caused us to stay housebound that day. If it’s not very good, I’m happy I waited till seeing the originals (and prequels). yes, you dodged a bullet there. Better start chronologically with the Lucas stuff and then move on to the retreading Disney films. Just FYI: There is an entire 5.5-season cartoon show called The Clone Wars wich is essential Star Wars viewing and canon. Lucas created it after Sith. It's set between EpII and III and shows the war in detail with heavy focus on the clones as soldiers developing humanity. If you can get over the fact that this is animated it is BRILLIANT (gets better per season). In fact many a prequel hater became accepting of this world and timeline after having seen the show. It uses the world building and characters very well. And believe it or not a NEW season (6) will be released next year by Disney/Lucasfilm:

THE PHANTOM MENACE - Light Saber Fight (one of the best fights ever)
ATTACK OF THE CLONES - Shmi's death and Anakin using dark side to wipe out the sand people (including Yoda hearing Qui Gon Jin calling out to Anakin via the Force)
REVENGE OF THE SITH - Order 66 or Opera Scene
The Clone Wars: all scenes with Asaji Ventress
A NEW HOPE - Binary Sunset
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - No, I'm your Father
RETURN OF THE JEDI - Speeder Bike Scene
THE FORCE AWAKENS - Rey's introduction & Finding Luke
ROGUE ONE - Your father would be proud (its close to the genius of Order 66-montage IMO in picture and music)
THE LAST JEDI - Luke & Leia unite and Luke-trolls-Kylo "fight" (I know it's a rip off of Esc from LA)
SOLO - When Qi'ra contacts Darth Maul (cheesy² but it gave me goose bumps - duel of the fates music too)

If TFA and TLJ canon, then so is this. I haven’t seen ’em, but if everything you guys are saying about them is true, then this might be more worthy of being canon! you should watch them, for the deja vu effect alone. Impressive, you did a better superimposition job than they did in Infinity War with Bruces head sticking out the Hulkbuster, remember " Hahahah, you guys are so screwed now!" at 2:44 Most unimpressive, them, not you.

I'll bite. No, I don't think so. I'd go so far as to say I think he looks badass. Why do you think he looks stupid? He looks like Stewie Griffin got pepper sprayed on the way to the Dr Who convention.
Name a few villains who you think look dumber.
like this? D'OH-NUT!!!

you mean look "stupid" as in a CGI-blob arch villain with a dangling "Ball Sack of a Chin" who changes color and facial features per movie? BEWARE graphic aging process depicted: Answer NO: Black Manta looks awesome and old school...and REAL! All Hail the Black Manta!

the Wicker Man is a brilliant thriller comedy with a hilariously shocking twist a la The Room. Highly recommended. I would watch it again. Don't know about Family Man though.

looked it up and there was more of them in that Muppet show, but alas no confrontation scene between Luke and Vader Gonzo.
dance number
This being shot after Empire seems like the the Holiday Special Part 2.
Also, I fear Lucas might have enjoyed the pigs in space segment too much, hence the more juvenile Ewok stuff in Jedi.

don't mind the fanboys. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Their movies are so without substance that they reinterpret their own films in light of other films' themes and messages (and be it at ad absurdum).
The original Fox-Men films are allegorical masterpieces of political minority paranoia. The political theme in CW was quickly tossed aside in favor of a juvenile "I don't care, he killed my mom" conflict. Hence the fanboy confusion.

nah, Snyder is the man who gave us Watchmen & Co. We really would have to see the Snyder version to seriously assess it. But as it stands, Whedon messed it up, he gave us moustache-gate, badly-lit and blocked scenes (in contrast to Snyder's trademark brilliant cinematography) and these atrocities: In the end, it's not so much Josh " let's play hide the zucchini" Whedon's fault but mostly WB's. Whedon was just the wrong man at the wrong time; good for them that they realized it before he could ruin Batgirl. Just like they should with Pedo-Gunn, Feige's foulest fallen fruit. Ultimately it's about the old ideological conflict: The MCU fans love about JL just what DC fans hate about it: Uninspired, forced humor, clobber porn galore, shoddy cinematography, family friendly tone, formula-over-substance etc. Alan Moore gave us Watchmen and Snyder gave us a crappy dude bro version, and hide the zucchini line was better than any of the dialogue in any Snyder disaster apart from Dawn of the Dead, a movie that was saved by Gunn. hobowart v ^ DC vs MCU fans
