...for the website, is anyone planning on deleting any of the stuff you've put? You know, things like trivia, movie reviews, movie scores, lists, etc. I feel that since IMDb is giving us the middle finger by removing the message boards and private messaging systems, they don't need the data we've provided them anymore.
I removed all of my movie lists and planning on removing the trivia bits I've contributed(if I can).
Anyone else? |

No, but I am seriously thinking of deleting my account, which I have had since 1999. There's nothing I can do on IMDB that requires an account anyway. From this point on, I have no intention to contribute data on there anymore (like trivia, etc). So yeah, there's really no need for me to still have an account on there. It's a shame because I've had that account for so long (18 years now).

It's a shame because I've had that account for so long (18 years now). I don't blame you. For me, I want to try to remove every single bit of trivia I've ever contributed and movie scores. Like you, I don't ever plan on contributing anything for IMDb ever again. And then finally, deleting my account which I've had for 11 years. 11 freakin' years!!! For you, it's 18 years and I can't imagine how you must feel because I feel seriously betrayed. They basically gave us the middle finger after all the years we've helped build the site to what it is/was! |
