Very unfortunate, man. So, is this sgpt related to alcohol? I've never taken a test, never will.

Man, go for a voluntary home rehab. Take the requisite pills like udiliv. Or even Liv 52 after the levels have come down.
Even I need to get mine done sometime.

Even I need to get mine done sometime. man, do it after keeping away from alcohol for a few days. my father made me do it after a sunday evening of heavy whiskey drinking where he got scared after witnessing my capacity.

Sorry to hear this man. SGPT is an indicator of liver damage and I suggest you to get a ultrasonography of abdomen. Your ALT/SGPT levels aren't that high to suggest an irreversible damage but you need to get back on number of pegs. What about the rest of your liver function tests? ALT/SGOT, GGT, LDH, TB and DB?
