I've heard of panspermia before. Oh and to answer your question, there's no evidence, therefore no particular reason to believe in it.

Sort of interesting, yet strangely not interesting at the same time.
I don't understand what the big deal is whether the bacteria started on Mars or not. We still aren't Martians, just like I am not Italian even though some of my ancestors are.
I don't see how it can provide any answers unless we get to the point where we can travel to Mars and then have a significant amount of time to study the planet.
It isn't like this idea hasn't been mentioned before. Many movies touch on this subject, most notably Mission to Mars.

I can proudly say that I don't post You Tube videos and treat them as gospel. I do have to admit you have a real knack for finding these strange videos. The people behind them really look like they've been off their meds for far too long.

From what I understand, Human's are oddities when compared to other life on Earth.
We got rid of our fur, so we have to wear clothing in winter? We sunburn too easily. To much sunlight causes skin cancer.
And there are some other examples... (Which I can't remember)
And apparently when humans go into space, our Biorhythms change to something more suitable to a species living on Mars.
For someplace, that is supposed to be where we originated from, is sure seems to kick our ass, far more than other life forms living here.
We already know that life can exist in environments such as space and inside comets, and we know martian rocks have been found on Earth.
Possible? YES.
To what extent, if true... We don't know yet.

I think an alien in a passing spacecraft flushed the toilet at the right moment.

Some of the so called "panspermia" arguments discount evolution in that if fish, amphibians, and mammals arrived from outer space it would not matter in which order they arrived. Even the Bible has a good order of things.
If humans flourished first on Mars they would have left some kind of time capsule, monument or other evidence that should not be difficult to find.

Only if I get a heat ray and can take the Tripod on the work run each morning. H.G. Wells reference. Call me Captain Obvious.

A twist worthy of M. Night Shyamalan.
