uproar about Bob Chapek's financial support to Florida's governor in response to the "don't say gay" bill.' linkThis is just a tasty little bone being thrown to the LGBTQ+ employees so they stay on board and keep their LGBTQ+ consumers happy so the heat from financially showing support for Florida's governor settles down. If these employees really want to show force against Chapek then they should recognize this as just a sticker placed on a band aid and leave the company, but not very likely to happen as California is home to many betas who like to be coddled and consumers are too easily swayed as a general thing. For the record, I think this whole bill has been blown out of proportion and misinformation from the media has pushed forward emotion over logic with some people. The bill simply doesn't allow schools to teach sexuality to students in grades kindergarten to third grade and gives parents' permission to oversee the curriculum and have the option of suing the school if they decide to teach their children topics they do not approve of without their knowledge. Nowhere does it say that you cannot say gay or that their intention is to ensure that students be made or stay straight for the rest of their life duration.

I think that people in general are brandwashed by Disney, whether it's the general public or the people who work there. They've literally put Disney logos in front of non-Disney animated films at test screenings and people liked them better.

Well golf clap for them. They’re “protesting” a bill that doesn’t actually do anything. More importantly, they’re trying to do things that anime has been doing for decades. Excuse me if I don’t consider myself all that impressed.
