I'm always on the lookout for seminal animation , a reissue historically or independent based , which is why I like to peruse the crowdfunding sites where a lot of freelance animators like to spruik their latest projects . And there are a lot them who I have subscribed to over the years . So here are a recent few that I was interested in , and that you can still get if you want .
The first one is American animator , Austin McConnell from Springfield , Missouri (Is that a Homer or what? Hehe!!). McConnell is a very capable animator presenting his Atlas movie based on a forgotten classic pulp hero comic from the 1960's . Austin intends to eventually showcase 7 comics from the golden era as animated movies . He aptly explains his visions in this video -
The 2nd animated movie is a pilot to a Black American sci-fi thriller called Playing The Odds being produced and presented by MV Media .
And the 3rd animation is a reissued and remastered collectors boxset by the creators of the original .
Plus an 4th animation is a short scifi space adventure , Space Dino Kaiju , a salute to the animè genre
I was excited by all four of these animation projects and I hope you would enjoy them as well . There are plenty to dig out , with many more to explore , old and new , small and large , too !
