They have no interest in them whatsoever. Would that be a dealbreaker for you?

Absolutely. Unless she looks like Margot Robbie and is insatiable.

The sex would have to be out of this world.

We could see eye to eye in other interests. I would have to enjoy watching movies while they aren't around though which will be difficult.

No that would not be a dealbreaker
But it would be a dealbreaker if she wanted to be with me, as a woman would need to insane to want to be with me, and i don't date insane women.

I have some friends that had no interest in movies but I was able to get them interested. Could probably do that with a potential partner as well

I just tried and the relationship crashed and burned, though that wasn't the only problem.

My wife loves movies so it’s been a win for me. Although our tastes tend to diverge which is fine. Prior girlfriends typically enjoyed film, if they didn’t I usually didn’t date them.

Someone that doesn't have any interest in movies at all(and shows as well I presume) sounds like quite a bore. But, I've been quite used to watching movies by myself, so it wouldn't really be much of an issue for me. Unless, of course, she didn't let watch movies as well then.... Houston we have a problem

Yes, if we had other things in common. When I was young I might have found it more of a drawback, as I liked to go to the cinema quite often. But even then i used to go on my own sometimes.

If she had other artistic interests, looked like Geraldine Hakewill or Maggie Q, played an instrument well, had no hounds , and drove a car and had her own tasteful flat......she would most probably slink through the Blade net.

It could work for a while, maybe even more than a while, but in the long run….no.
Think about it. We are creatures of habit, and if we want to grow old with someone, film watching is going to be something I need to fall back on when I can no longer physically go on the adventures of days past. Ultimately, I like to talk about what I’ve seen and experienced, and film will always a crucial part of this. If I can’t share this with that special someone, then there is going to be an increasingly growing void. The inability to express my interest would, over time, become suffocating. It’s actually kinda alarming to think about such a situation.
I believe in independence and separate hobbies. People should lead their own lives, even if they are kinda tied to someone else. It’s healthy. However, at the end of the day, there should, ideally, be a common sharing of life and coming together, and if someone had zero interest in films then I will find myself increasingly alone in my thoughts - which is not always the best/most healthy place to be.
