After a horrible and embarrassing start, the Phillies currently have the 5th best record in baseball. I guess Gabe Kepler is safe for now.
Rhys Hoskins is living up to the hype and has put himself into the way too early MVP discussion.
Aaron Nola and Jake Arrieta are pitching like aces. Nick Pivetta doesnβt have the wins but he is pitching like he is ready to make the leap to ace status.

Apparently Cole Hamels has been atrocious this year.
Texas is 5th in the West.
Betting he can be had for 'cheap' at the trade deadline - i.e some 'mid level' prospects.
Been setting my heart on this for quite sometime - hoping they bring him home and they make a WC push.
What do you do with Kingery? Trade Hernandez and make him the everyday 2nd Baseman? I love a Swiss Army Knife type of player - but if this kid is the 'Ph'uture - why not just solidify his everyday position - his BA has plummeted - maybe not knowing where he's going to be in the field is effecting his bat?

Why rebuilding teams waste picks on HS arms is beyond me. A college weekend starter is MOB ready or nearl so

Kingery needs some stability. He has played 5 different defensive positions and has been a pinch hitter. He has batted 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 9th in the lineup. Pick a damn spot and let him develop.
